Since you asked, people get master powers from social isolation and alienation. People get breaker powers from mental and physical stresses that come from a contradiction that cannot be resolved.

A breaker trigger: imagine you define yourself as a “survivor” and hate when people don’t fight back, even if they will die if they don’t. Now imagine you’re in a situation where want to fight because you’re a “survivor” but in a situation where the only way to survive is to run. The two are mutually incompatible and you survive physically but suffer mentally.

That’s a breaker trigger.

Why would the punishment be from Carol? Glory Girl attacked a Ward, that's legal action stuff, I expect Glory Girl to be dragged to court, and at minimum have to temporarily enter the Wards on probation(probably a 3-6 month probation, whereupon she can quit and return to New Wave) attacking a Ward is serious, and Worm isn't a setting where hero versus hero violence due to misunderstandings, are just brushed off.

I hope Glory Girl is in some serious trouble, attacking a Ward is not exactly a minor offense.

To clarify, In my last comment I knew she was just pinning blame. I was just saying that I hope once amy has had some time to calm down and think about it that she realizes she was being overly harsh (Though she may blame her a little).

...I'm kinda hoping that there are actually some consequences for Vicky this go around. Maybe her learning that she can't get off scot-free for all her actions might actually help her mature earlier than usual. I mean, I can UNDERSTAND why Amy could be angry and why Vicky could jump the gun like that. But that doesn't mean that it should be swept under the rug. I'll be curious to see how you play out that interaction.

Lastly, I kinda wonder if Taylor will get a handle on Armsmaster's personality? She seems to get that he's socially awkward, so I'm curious if she will be like most others and avoid interactions with him or if she'll try to make accommodations? Maybe she could buy him a rattleback as a Christmas present? He might enjoy studying the physics of it.
