I'm kind of hoping that Hiruzen ends up finding out what happened with this. And then deciding to 'outsource' future team distributions to Aki. Using a sneaky method, of course. Meanwhile, the council doesn't notice that their team recommendations didn't happen.

I love how playful Kaka and Genma team introduction is and then Kurenai team is anything but! This sounds like a good premise already can't wait for the next chap XD

Hummm interesting btw ever consider adding a extra team into the mix I mean it's never actually said the failure is a guaranteed only 3 teams to pass as if that were the case the leaf would be highly under staffed I'd say its more that the random civilian teams were generally hopeless. I'd love to see a team like.

Leader. Asuma sarutobi / ko hyuga

1. Kurama clan OC

2. Sarutobi clan oc

3. Random oc maybe a external clan like yuki or fuma (or you could use ami she doesn't get much love by the fan base)

Why do I mention this honestly the kurama clan gets no love and the sarutobi clan is a pretty powerful clan with a habit of hording especially with the massive jutsu Library they amassed. Point is with that you've changed so much a abnormality isn't unlikely and honestly I love how team 7&10 have this nice partnership thing going so a fourth team can give the same dynamic. Plus the sarutobi and Yamanaka have a strong friendship hell I'd even be willing to design the oc team if you want to do it but not do the work.
