Champion of Justice chapter 26 . 6/19
Great chapter. Glad your back.
While I'm white my sister is half black and her kids are black & I worry about them, but It makes me feel better knowing that most cops are good. There's good & bad in every race & career. You can't let the few bad apples get to you. Remember, good white people, get killed by bad cops too, but you never hear about those murders. We live in an unfair world, where bad people get away with hurting others, but I believe things will get better.

I’m glad to see an update again, but I understand how meddlesome school can be. Write at your own pace, please make sure YOU are okay. Your mental health our desire to read more.

This chapter was EVERYWHERE for me. I thought the long time gap between when I started reading versus now would make me lose the feels BUT BOY WAS I WRONG! As soon as that insecurity part came in, the angst hit hard. I remembered how Jacob resisted the claim and now quickly changed his tune when Bella got engaged. It’s very conflicting because I understand needing to grow up and not hold grudges, but trust is so delicate and Jacob metaphorically body-slammed multiple times. It’s hard to tell if he’s sincere of his own choice or not, so right now I think Zora has to choose to accept the imprint as it is. Yes, she didn’t pull a Jacob and resist the imprint but it’s obvious that it affected her emotions. That being said, she acknowledges her feelings for him if only to focus on how he hurt them. So if she can accept her feelings caused by the imprint as sincere, then I think she reason accepting Jacob’s feelings even if they were influenced by the imprint. It’s not inherently bad as long as Jacob doesn’t repeat his actions. Still, I’m a sucker for angst and I am thriving with this drawn-out romantic reconciliation. I do adore your writing, I hope I am transferring that message effectively. Your writing style is [insert chef’s kiss]. Keep doing what you’re doing! :)

As for what’s going on in the world, I’m also American. I’m not white but I have light-skin privilege and am soaking in all the information I encounter on social media about racism and what to change. It’s too much to summarize and it’s being covered from public view in schools and textbooks. 2020 is a scary time, so please stay safe. Thank you for powering through and publishing this chapter!
