This fic really reminds me of the anime Rosario Vampire. A human ends up in a monster school and all sorts of crazy shenanigans happen. And just like your fic, the anime was mostly adventure, humor, and romance. You didn't mention it as an inspiration so I'm hoping this doesn't turn into something super similar.

Pretty interesting, a good Rosario To Vampire au(kinda). I'm very curious to see next events and i kinda hope Qrow will be Ruby's dad, trough i hope Jaune and whoever won't be capable of oneshotting everyone just of some epic bloodlin/mutation/whathever. Happy new year.
