Well what can i say.. imma sucker for anything you write :D even thou it didnt make the final cut, i dont think that Sasuke is acting out of character, taking in accord that he thought his wife was dead, injured, possibly humiliated (idk u know how soldiers get with hostaged women) and all that bad stuff :DD plus loosing his comrades, and in general loosing to a man, that managed to get inside of his insecurities and also dared to take his wife hostage, puts a toll on a dude emotionally. I guess most people would feel like that so idk about all that possesive stuff but didnt really feel it nearly as much as loss, anger and anguish.

Even as I read that you said it just cuts off, I still got so invested in seeing what he was going to do when he found them
