I think you wrote Sakumo really well! I love that he got to see how his son grew up, what he became and everything, hell, I'd read a whole multi chapter fic of this! It's soooo satisfying!

Awwww. This was a fun, cute and - well Sakumo described it perfectly - bittersweet little story. I hope you do write drabbles for it! Enjoyed it immensely.

Really nice story, but I'm surprised kakashi stuck with calling him kumo even in private. That would be kinda weird. It's nice that the got the estate back to liveable conditions.

I wasn't expecting you to drop Sakumo in the pre-series period, but somehow I find myself preferring it that way. I love the progression as Sakumo gets to know his son again (reading habits included), and even helps him begin to heal. Anyway, this was a wonderful read, so thank you!
