Percy is so underpowered he doesnt matter i think you should go back rethink the story and maybe just include the forsworn in so there is more antagonists and have percy view this more as a break from the war and the fighting in the start willing to kick ass but reluctant to really get involved and have him form a strong bond with saphria that way you cna have some byplay in the travel chapters and have percy kind of be the ghost the protects the group on their journey and have brom be suspicious of him

Ok read the fight scene and I’m truly disappointed I mean Percy is a Demigod he is faster stronger and all around better than any human in fact he should be able to easily fight one on one against any elf or maybe even 2 on 1 or more he should have DESTROYED every soldier alone I mean if you really wanted to make it seem like he could have some trouble maybe he should have fought against both of the Ra’zac and then you could justify having anything but a one sided masacre occur. Anyway hope you can actually go back and fix that since if you are going to under power Percy SO much he is going to be just some weak OC that happens to be named Perceus and he will certainly die and be irrelevant in the story since any elf or shade or magician will be able to easily kill him.

Apparently fighting in two wars and facing immortals amkes a regular mortal a slight challenge im suprised percy didnt just cut through the soldiers like wheat he is a demigod and why does he need a weapon they train in hand to hand combat he doesnt need to use his powers to pull a jakie chan and disarm some mortal and take his sword you down play his abilities i could understand if percy was 13-14 before the wars but he’s implied in the books to be as good as achilles ect
