I want to do the equivalent of hiding my face in a pillow during a movie to not see the trainwreck that is about to come in the next chapters... Why Sirius, why? Even worse than Cassie's disbelief is James' reaction though. And as you said, the remus/cassie/peter scene was really enjoyable. Best part was Peter just digging his grave while complimenting Sirius' ex girlfriend lol. Him confessing what his dream life would be was a bit heartbreaking though...

And torturing and experimenting on your three sisters for months? Disgusting. To live the rest of his life in jail is what he deserved. But of course there must be a reason for the madness that you'll explain later on!

This was a very good chapter! Nicely written, good stuff going on. I'm really interested now for the characters to either get back into the adventures or to stay low for a while. I'm excited to see what they'll choose and how it'll go. I have theories, of course, but we shall see. I have a really crazy picture painted of what Will wants with Kane, and I'm super excited to see if I'm right or not.

Interesting to finally meet Norvina (and james being like ah shit here we go again lmfao). I’m guessing Cassie’s gonna have to find six other descendants...either to destroy the locket or use its power? I’ll be interested to see what she can do by herself (other than cast Fuck Off on her ancestor)

I loved the chapter! It had a good amount of action and spunk coming from Cassie, which is always appreciated. I definitely think the person at the end watching the eight go back to Hogwarts was Snape or someone like him. He might not even be a Slytherin, but he'd have to have the right connections. Maybe it's Will for all we know. *shrugs*

I had a good time reading it. The second I got the email, I was just so excited. I opened it the URL up and starting reading. I am ready for Sirius to say that he loves Cassie, which is what I think almost happened in this chapter. I think it's a good thing and a sign of growth on Sirius's part to be the first to say it. I also think him growing as a person, telling Cassie that he loves her, etc. is showing so much good growth whereas Cassie is becoming more obsessive with the locket, its properties, etc. Their characters are developing phenomenally—flaws and all.

I was just thinking about this story a few days before you updated! I'm betting that the person Remus is talking about Cassie, but I could be dead wrong. Who knows, maybe it's Marlene. I'm looking forward to seeing more of Cassie and the Animagus plot, as well as learning about Professor Staghart. I'm really glad you updated, and I hope you still feel this spark to write for later chapters since there's so much of Cassie's story that needs telling.
