I have to admit it. This is the first time I sincerely like Pansy Parkinson. I hope Trevor sees sense and helps Pansy get out from Dumbledore's thumb...or Sirius helps her. And isn't that a surprise to see Snape welcome Sirius ?

I was worried that Pansy went to Longbottom Manor and neither Neville nor his Gran was there. But Trevor did give an answer of "no harm will befall you" so she's safe ... aaaasss long as she's there at Longbottom Manor. I did not miss that wording was "no harm will befall you, here". Then there is the "I'm sure our parents will be thrilled to meet you." that sounded rather ominious. Oh for fuck's sake (and yes I'm qouting the story when it feels needed ;P) I can see the parents go to Dumbledore who will try to convince cough*make*cough Pansy become an spy!

Hopefully Trevor will see problem and honor his brother's offer of sanctuary to Pansy, either help her stay at Longbottom Manor or help her escape to Harry & Neville.

With Albus as current leader and chose Junior to succeed him. Sounds like Junior really is a "Chosen One". James Sr is fully brainwashed into it. It reminds me of actual cults in real life.

I've been going over this for several chapters but ... they may call Junior the "real boy who lived" but he isn't really if we go by what Lily said of that night. He could really be the "Chosen one" alluded to in the prophesy, but that doesn't mean he was the real BWL.
Lily said she was able to charge up both charms, to shield and hide, over Junior but only got one up on Harry, the shield. Lily & Sirius wonder if her emotions at time could have overpowered the shield.
From what it sounds like Voldemort didn't even see James Junior there, only Lily & Harry. It was Harry to was aimed at, who got the AK reflected.

That title, Boy who Lived, it refers to one specific action. Just one point of time; the night that that Voldemort attacked and AKed a Potter baby but the baby, Harry, survived.
So while Dumbledore may have been talking about James Junior when he was saying "boy who lived" all those times he was in Wizengamot, as far as the public is concerned, it is Harry who is the Boy who Lived. And even if Junior turns out to be one to face Voldemort as the "Chosen one", Harry will still be the Boy Who Lived.

Wow, what a rollercoaster. Seeing the title of the chapter "The courtship", I remembered how Harry said he didn't want to date until the war was over. then something about a betrothal. Then I see Ron & Hannah playing chess... and she's holding her own against Ron! So I wondered if they were going to become a couple. Maybe the chapter's title was referring to them? But then whammo, it's courtship between Potter and Bones. And almost on cue, Lily arrives bringing Junior. Oh, for fuck's sake! But wait, the contract was loosely written and since magic decided that James and Junior were dead, it didn't bind to them and as such Harry who already accepted the Potter Lordship has fallen for fair miss Bones.
Thankfully Junior declares he won't try to take his twin's girl away. Oh but the rollercoaster isn't done yet, for it seems the good Corporal likes the lovely Regent Bones and was asking her out on a date.

At first I was thinking that Augusta knew about Trevor but then realized she sent her patronus to her grandson ... but never specified the person as in "Neville, my granson" as such the patronus went to BOTH boys, Neville and Trevor.

From his behavior, Trevor acts as if he didn't know about Neville. he acted as if he didn't know he had a twin. If' true, I was wondering why if he was raised by his parents. Were their memories altered? no, Frank & Alice knew him so they had their memories.

Aw sh... That strange red potion... it had something to do with what happened to the Longbottoms wasn't it? They likely would have recovered sooner if they've not been been given some potion that kept them in a mentally crippled state. Something happened when Neville bumped into the healer with the potions.

Yeah, it is really telling that James said aloud he hid with 'entire family' and only caught what the F he said when Griphook called his bullshit out.

So Sirius is already freed. Good. But still, there needs to be a confrontation between him and James Sr.
Sure James Sr can claim "Dumbledore said..." all he wants but unless Dumbledore imprisoned them, James was free to go clear Sirius' name and set him free. But "Dumbledore said so" they chose to HIDE while Sirius rotted in Azkaban.

No Junior, Sirius did not live 12 years in Hell because he didn't know his "best friend" was alive. Sirius was in prison because his FORMER friend abandoned him.

Frankly, Sirius should have met James Sr, with a punch to the jaw.

And Dumbledore! He knew, KNEW, they were alive! He knew that when he testified that Sirius was Secret Keeper. Dumbledore is as at fault as Crouch Sr. is for Sirius' wrongful imprisonment. Shouldn't he be considered guilty of perjury?

Hopefully now that Bones has seen both adult Potters alive, she can clear Sirius' name.
