In fact, Uzume might have a chance to mend and at least fix some parts of his broken mind and makes Shirou value his life a bit more.

This is a really novel concept! I like it a lot!

I'm liking this so far. I hope to see you come back to this story at some point as I feel it has a lot of potential. Also, I'm enjoying the dynamic between Shirou and Uzume.

please DONT make this a harem, Uzume and Shiro would be a perfect fit! Also if u do make a harem please don't make it too big it just gets dumb at that point, you don't really hold any feelings for the girls in the harem. But I can really feel Uzume's care/love for Shirou right now, so keep up the good work!

Very well written story thus far. Strayed from using any common cliches or anything contrived to try and progress the plot to this point. Hope to see it continue this way. The winging was perfectly fine as well. Sometimes things simply happen from impulsive decisions and that one felt very realistic.

Ignore the people complaining about harems or whatever if you haven't already. I personally don't like them because they only make a joke from the special feelings that come from people falling in love and never hold any significant value to anything. Usually they just throw the story down the proverbial shitter. It's your story though so you can take whatever liberties you want with your writing and at the very least, Sekirei is a series that actually has plot related reasons for a harem to occur. So it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me at least.

The way you've described how Shirou fits into this however leads me to the conclusion that there may be NO Sekirei whom react to him unless they were Sekirei that never got winged or were forcibly winged from the original series. This gives me confidence that should you choose to have him wing anyone else, you'll most likely put a good level of consideration for who, how, and most importantly, why.

Sekirei is an harem anime/manga meaning if I'm going to read any stories that heavily involve it then their needs to be an Sekirei harem involved... unless it's Miya... anyways so ya good luck with your story I guess...

Tsukiumi is like a Saber x Rin fusion dance and Akitsu is a broken Sekirei and needs some love

I'm all about Shirou and Sekirei. Honestly, Shirou x Saber is the ONE TRUE PAIRING... but barring that Rin is more temporary girlfriend material and Sakura...eh... isn't much of something I'd like to see Shirou with. With Rider? That bumps it up a notch. But honestly the Sekirei I think are probably the only ones who're actually able to heal his heart and temper his distortion. This is doubly true considering the bond that forms between them - the love of the sekirei for their ashikabi spilling over and being able to partially mend his wounded soul.

Now an interesting question to ask would be if his distortion is mended does that hamper his ability to access his reality marble? The distortion is the primary prerequisite for a reality marble after all.

Anyways, enjoying the story, can't wait to see more of it!
