At least Sirius is willing to stay and be questioned instead of going after Peter. Maybe now Camellia will get a chance to have a loving family and not be used

Good fanfic so far.

Although the title and summary are a little bit confusing with the plot at the moment it is still the first chapter. I think that it is refreshing that Sirius had not fallen to the traditional Black Madness that seems to run the some members of the family. He decided that his goddaughter was more important than to hand her over to Haggrid who would have taken her to Petunia. Sirius took complete control of what happens afterwords. Of course, seeing as she does become adopted at one point and changes her name that things don't go as planned for the family. This story has a lot of potential to be something great. I cannot wait to read more from this story.
