Seriously, this is everything I didn't know how to put into words that I wanted in a MacGyver fic. Mac whump, protective Jack, realism, doohickeys, Matty, pre-show Mac and Jack relationship while overseas, men having and showing emotions (yesssss give it to meeeee), seeing their relationship from multiple outside perspectives, exploration of the full two-way-ness of their relationship (obvs Mac needs Jack but that is only one side of the coin, ain't it), James being an emotionally stunted dumbass. I could go on, but I think I've made my point. What an amazing story, thank you so much for writing it!

Holy crap tears in my eyes. I am Lisa Simpson in that meme, and this is the coffee getting poured into the cup. I am so in love with the relationship between Jack and Mac, how soft and supportive they are for each other, and this just encapsulates that perfectly. Thank you yes more please.

I never ever bingeread a fanfiction before and i read alot of fanfictions! English isn't my first language, so it is even harder for me, to read so many words at once, but I DID! The whole sunday and today just the rest of it.

You have a fantastic style of writing. Long Chapters doesn't bother me, because i only read completed fanfics and download them on my kindle. So i could stop at any time i want or must. It cost me everything to put my kindle aside to go to bed, since i had go back to work today.

You had me several times on edge and i was on tears many times. That never happend to me reading a finfic!

I just binge read this instead of sleeping and I have no regrets. This story was so amazingly good, packed with feels and a laser-edged picture of the characters and what makes their relationships so complex in some ways yet simple, elegant, and powerful in all the ways that count the most. With the talent you so abundantly possess, you won’t need luck. This story was absolutely the most fantastic bit of fanfic I have ever had the pleasure to read. Your plot line, characterizations, conversations, scene depictions, every detail was so perfect. I love your succinct versions of every character, you write them all as though they were your own creations. This really rocked, from start to finish, you totally nailed this little slice out of Mac’s life and made it so realistic and believable. Incredible.
