I'm just. Absolutely in love. You captured the characters so well. You wrote the scenery so well. You write, amazingly so. I'm honestly honored that you would consider writing for this fandom, because clearly your skills and just raw capture of emotion within literature is simply beyond amazing. This story actually put a gigantic smile on my face, and inspired me to write more. This was so well written, thank you.

I absolutely can't believe that plot twist of Jack leaving like that I would expect Jack to get SCARY scary at least once before leaving her there. Like a threat. But damn thats a weird plot twist but so good at the same time

I've fallen in love with your fic for the third time! (yes, I've read it, so far, three times xd). I love the way you write, your style, the way you handle the characters' perspectives, the narrative. It's just written in a way I admire so much! :D

I noticed the changes you made (such as the elimination of the contest's existence and the way Sally declares it). Also the fact that jack appears more often xd.

I also noticed changes since the second time I read it, mostly deleted "scenes." Like when jack gives Sally a key to the cemetery, when Devil invites Sally to a dance when he was with jack carving pumpkins (event I miss xd), and when jack took Sally to a swamp with a lot of fog (? (this one I'm not entirely sure, I think I'm delirious, ha ha).

There are many parts of your story that fascinate me, but no doubt my favorite was the discussion of jack and the doctor in chapter 25. The things you say are epic, the kind of drama I love!

Another thing I also love about your fic is how faithful you are to the characters' personalities. Detail which, at least in my case, makes reading much easier.

Well, that certainly was quite the ending. Glad Fink wised up and released Sally. I mean, dude, you're making yourself a wife, why are you forcing this poor gal to stay with you when she clearly doesn't? Was it some way to torment her and Jack for sneaking around behind your back? To be fair, you didn't give them much choice.

In any case, I really liked the end. Jewel was very sweet and I think she'd be the only reason Sally would ever visit, maybe at least foe a little while. Then again, she does have to get settled into her home. Moving in, making her own touches to make it feel like its her home too, not just a guest of her boyfriend. Plus, Jack will need to not only get accustom to having a rooming, aside from his dog; but now he's living with a woman. That's gotta be a big change for the lonely bachelor. lol

I'd love to see a spinoff or one shot with these two moving in/living together. However, this story is good on its own, and was so fun to read (and read again with the changes). You did a fangtastic job! Thanks again for sharing!

This is a very good story! It’s been awhile since I’ve come across a story that I feel portrays Jack and Sally well. This is what I wish would have happened in the movie. That their relationship was more expanded on.

I hope Jack doesn’t leave Sally alone too long or that Sally can stand up for herself and set the Doctor straight, someone has to! He’s being so little minded for having such a huge brain! He’s her creator, so technically he’s her father not her husband!

I would like to retract my previous statement regarding Fink in my last review. Because after treading this chapter...

SUCK A LEMON, OLD MAN! AFTER ALL YOU'VE DONE, YOU THINK YOU CAN PULL SOMETHING LIKE THIS?! YOU GOT SOME NERVE YOU ARCHAIC FOSSIL! I WOULDA TAKEN THAT BOOK AND BEAT WITH IT TILL YOU WERE BLACK AND BLUE AND BLEEDING, YOU JACKANAPES!

Okay, not the actually rant I'm currently screaming into a pillow right now, but this is a K-rated fic, so I'll behave... mostly. Seriously, I want Fink dead, like cannot be reanimated dead-dead. How dare he! He has some gall thinking he can get away with that. I mean, okay, he is right that Jack covered up the certificate, but Jack made a valid point in that it wasn't consensual! Sally was in tears when she learned of it, and Jack being the ever-devoted, loving king his is; he saw one of his people in distress, and did what he could to help them.

And hey, no ring, so none of the other citizens, except Jack and maybe the Mayor, knew she was supposed to be married-yuck! still creeps me out thinking of it. But still! It came off to me that everyone thought she was single until she and Jack hung out more. Even the Harlequin Demon shipped Jack and Sally, so aside from the Mayor, no one would believe that Sally and Fink were supposed to be a couple... again, GROSS!

So Fink can take a flying leap! I want him to suffer and in a very BIG way for the shit he is putting them through. He is manipulative, abusive, cold-hearted (stretch given one must have a heart in the first place), and downright sexist. Seriously, I would love to see him get taken out by a lab experiment. I'm surprised Jack was able to compose himself as he did. No doubt Fink would be a pile of ash if Jack had unleashed his wrath. And I'd be sitting there with popcorn to watch the show.

YES! I cannot wait to see how this all turns out. Couple of broken hearts there will be, but ecstatic am I for Jack and Sally.

I'm really happy they are going to tell Fink first. I mean, he already knows, but they don't know that. Plus he has the right to know first. Yes, shocked that came from me, but I gotta be somewhat considerate of the mad scientist. HE may not be my favorite character, but that doesn't mean our couple has to be mean back. Like the saying goes, kill them with kindness. I'm just wondering how Sally will take to his new "project" as I have a feeling the Doctor will reveal it when they tell him.

I adored the Band in the beginning. They were just so cute, and I liked how they confronted Jack about sneaking around with Sally. They even got in a little "keep her happy" thing that, for me, was like older bothers watching out for their little sister, but not in an aggressive way. Then the bet was too funny! Jack, you're a celebrate dude, just roll with it and next time try to cash in on it if you can. lol

Eeeep! This was so incredibly cute! I just love it when these two go on their dates, and Jack trying to help her be scary was adorable. Too bad Sally doesn't know about pediophobia or automatonphobia. Bet if she read up on those then she might, just might be able to pull a scare.

Nya! These two are just- I can't even with them right now! Granted, apart of me woulda loved to have read where he pinned her to the wall, but I'll take that ending. Plus, it was good to see that moment with Fink.

I was really nervous he'd tried to force them apart, but I like his epiphany. Yeah, he gets heartbreak—unlike most characters, I don't feel sorry for him—but he sees that there's nothing he can do. The heart wants what it wants, and while it sucks for him, if he really cares about her like he claims, then he'll let her go so she can be happy.

Glad to see an update, as I always worry for stories to be abandoned, but a delayed update is always worth the wait with good stories like this! Such a good chapter and can't wait to know what happens next!

Gah, the fluff near killed me, but worth it! I hope they have another date soon. Maybe one where poison isn't used since Fink seems more suspicious with that. Then again, let him endure the headaches and blackouts. He is an ass, and I am sure I'm not alone when I say, more Jally fluff!
