Some excellent situations in this series of one-shots. Thoroughly enjoyable.

I read from my mobile phone all the time. I love this fic so much, but the problem is that I'm making noises and snort and laugh. I've also that crazy expression on my face and I'm constantly smiling.

I certainly would have preferred seeing Harry and friends cure Astoria more than The Next Generation being bratty.

It's like how it felt that Harry did very little in the main story. Harry's chance to be cool was waved away and skipped over to focus on less interesting things. Astoria stuff is alright. The peek into Draco's life was pretty amusing with the whole "you thought she was going to date him? Nope, she's with Neville" thing. But ultimately, I just want more Harry and Daphne.

I think my top pairing for HP fan fiction these days is Harry/Fleur and Harry/Daphne. That's not counting harem trash, which I also like if it is done passingly competently. For that, it's Harry/Fleur/Daphne/Tonks/maybe one or two other interesting people for me. Never Hermione or Luna though. They have been tainted by fanon bullshit made up by their more idiotic fan boys.

So I've been scraping the bottom of the barrel here trying to find decent Harry/Fleur and Harry/Daphne stories and I've read some real trash in the process. This story (that is, the main one, not these random bits) was one of the more competent stories I've read for Harry/Daphne. This one and Novocaine (which unfortunately isn't complete yet and the writer seems to be losing all interest and momentum) have been the best I've read in the last week or so, which is ironic because I've avoided both stories for fairly shallow reasons.

For yours, it was because I really didn't like the prologue. It implied that Daphne kind of did everything and it was going to be focused on patting Daphne on the back. And she kind of did, but in a much better way than I was expecting. Their romance was cute and Daphne was fairly adorable. Harry's whining was also mercifully minimal. He was just boring and not particularly exciting magically speaking, but the rest of the story more or less made up for that.

The bit about baking really sold me on their romance and the story in general. It's why I was disappointed that baking wasn't part of the epilogue and was instead in this collection of random bits. It was criminally wholesome.

First let me say that I have read hundreds of HP fan fiction stories. That said very few of them have combined the originality, ability to stir emotions, and the amazing story that you created. I thoroughly enjoyed every line of both the story and the "sequel". You have a true gift for writing and story telling. Very well done!
