To be honest, I didn't expect a romance involved but I'm glad it turned out well. First of all I'm happy that Bakugo isn't OOC here, in fact your nailed his character well. You wrote ALL the characters well. The way you wrote this is amazing. It made me cried at some part.
All in all, I really love this book. Too much feels while reading this!

Omg this story is so underrated! It’s so good! I like how real it feels. It isn’t one of those fanfics that automatically make Bakugou and the OC into like an actual freaking married couple. I get why Rei is pissed if her theory regarding All Might putting her together with Bakugou is true. Her snarky conversations with Bakugou makes me lol. The best part was them unconsciously sit the same way !

just wanted to comment on how i really like the low key todoroki/rei platonic interactions; it's really genuine and enjoyable to see these two characters interact after, not only a very intense battle, but also an emotional one-on-one exchange. not to mention how todoroki felt after rei's kidnapping...

tl;dr i like them, and not in the romantic sense; but it was fun to see how the class kind of wanted to pair them together XP

i hope to see more platonic todoroki/rei :3 rei can have great female talks with momo but something about her brief interactions with todoroki intrigue me, i think they could also be a force to recon with

btw! dont know if i mentioned in my previous review but im all caught up! even with the manga so im very excited to see your take on the provisional exam arc. i find it extremely forced to have rei win after such trauma (physical and emotional) and little training time but like i said im interested. i cant stop thinking how during the first stage when bakugo goes off he drags rei on with him; if not then let her find him like kaminari did after being separated :p

and if rei doesnt win; theres also the provisional exam squad lol also a small win to extra bakugo & todoroki interactions. i also like to think that if rei were to be in the make up classes and has to take care of the school kids she gets to be reunited with a couple of the orphanage's kids? food for thought; theres lots to think about storywise and i honestly cant blame you for not updating in a while, not to mention with the worldwide health crises... so yeah im patient, love to reread stuff

i cant seem to read (super)stition the right way though; i read a chapter/s here and there on my fav moments; doesnt take away the enjoyment

Where to start really! Oh perhaps how i am relatively new to the whole hero academia and before reading your fic I had only experienced the new movie that came out along with a couple of bakugo/oc[reader] oneshots... and another bakugo/oc fic i found around here that simply came to adore and thought me lots; simple to say that little by little im having less trouble in remembering who's who just by name

i AM watching the anime as im writing this but isnt it comical that i tackle this without previous background? typical me but been there done that so easy peasy in adapting

ehem im in love with (super)stition; i came to love rei and her growing relationship with bakugo and the rest of 1-A because AH such beautiful display of character growth when the untrusting and bitter protagonist comes to know more of her peers and comes to respect them. love it. her quirk is in my perspective balanced i'll say... anime catwoman and such; her regeneration part is quite something to look into specially if it, at some point, wont bring her back from the dead anymore (unless she "rests" and stops dying so frequently; would that help rehabilitate that aspect?) i like how even if she has such straight forward quirk and one that wouldnt necessarily work on metal or rock with her strong nails and slight superstrenght does the trick and doesnt leave her completely unprotected. but yeah it's all relative to her health and physical well being, IM ROOTING FOR YOU REI YOU CAN DO IT

rei's background is really good, i loved the little peeks to her past, not fully knowing about haru until later but still seeing her present in her personality and motivations. cutting my ramble here short; you have great narrative techniques and way with emotional displays; kudos! her hero name is also really cool! but i wonder why you didnt leave it in english? the way it's now makes it sound chinese and well that has nothing to do with her background (it's most likely japanese but you know what i mean; it's sidetracking) either way it's really cool; it's a real challenge to come up with hero names in this universe without it being already taken inside and outside the world. lots of ingenuity and creativity there!

rei's and bakugo's growing relationship was cute and asjkdhfg to follow along; the growing respect and banter and will to support each other on their own way made me grip my poor heart on the moments. bakugo learning to trust her intuitions, plannings and even trusting her with himself (the massages) is just... oh my heart! rei feeling the freedom to be who she is with him (because honestly they have similar attitudes at the beginning and similar objectives) and at the same time having bakugo as her standing rock when she crippled in some parts but he just pushes her along because he KNOWS she's capable im-

what im anxious to see is their "it wont be us; it'll just be us" thing. youre saying that they wouldnt go with the official statement of b/gfriend but would still be in romantic relationship? or akin to? you have starved us of romantic interactions that that hug made me slam my phone onto my bed in exhilaration. the yearning -chef's kiss- so good i'll wait whatever it is to follow their journey.

i had no complains over bakugo's personality, i loved how you carefully expressed his emotions when it came to rei and even if he himself admits to having feelings for her their dynamic is pretty much the same; banter, competitiveness and massages and all. honestly cant wait to see more of these babies

dunno when you will update again; but dont worry i can wait and i wouldnt mind rereading (super)stition after finishing the anime! HOW IN THE HELL DID REI DESTROY THAT FUCKING 0POINTER LIKE HOW IT BLEW MY MIND I DIDNT EXPECT IT TO BE SO BIG perhaps i misread something because i didnt remember the audacity of it. stuff like this is what will very much alate me through the reading even more -heart emoji-

speaking of, i think it was here in (super)stition where you tried to write the heart emoji but only the 3 appeared; for some reason ffnet doesnt support that kind of typing soooo it's just the 3 so i suggest either writing in parentheses (heart emoji) or... dunno... if youre crossposting on ao3 there's no issue but eh an observation.
also before i forget! perhaps it was my limited knowledge on the anime and such but the bonus chapters... i simply didnt read them, it cut me off on the momentum i had from the actual plot chapters that it made me a bit anxious reading and trying to understand something completely out of it. not sure how the rest felt about them, perhaps happy to have the update at the very least but i would suggest moving those bonus chapters into their own story as being part of the superstition universe. so not to cut on new readers' momentum but have extra reading material for when they end their track at this point. i more or less saw that they are actual anime episodes about them? so i will most certainly read them when i finish a good part of the anime and you havent updated yet.

in the mean time i can catch up on the anime; this fic and the other i mentioned (technical support, so good) "ended" on the same story line; after the summer camp and saving bakugo so im blind on the next arc. i have found myself once again without any reading material so will most likely reread (super)stition soon :p
