Interesting battle tbh and again lots of description in it, the way you've changed things up has made it unique and I did like how it played out, really hope the rewrite is going well.

A good chapter no doubt. Again your analogies and descriptions are something else lol. Very imaginative if anything but again sometimes maybe it's not needed to be so complex in explanation. The flag introduction is interesting I'll admit and to see whatever other changes you'll make.

Finished this chapter and it was a decently one again. If it's one thing I'll say is that you love your in depth analogies and maybe they're not always necessary. That aside there's no real issues here and the story is pretty good. Ofc Chimchar appears and for a second I forgot you didn't have Ash go to Sinnoh haha.

Conclusion to the incident was good and so was the meeting. Expected as much and it was kinda cute ngl. Froakie caught and well Calem is a hell of a mystery isn't he? Quite something we've got to see in the future.

Good chapter, they are long but with lots of info dumps. What I'll say is it is interesting to see them at age 18 etc. The dialogue at times might be a little iffy compared to how you have them speak usually but it's not a big deal. Still find it worth the read so far!

Your chapters are quite long ngl lol but are quite interesting. Had fun reading it and well the time skip wasn't too bad either. Now that he's 18, it'll be interesting to see how it goes now. The info about the end of world calamity was nice to get as it's not all a mystery anymore as well. A bit complex but also new so kudos.

Have you also decided not to give him all the Tauros he caught and I see you've also left out his shiny Noctowl. Unsure if it's something you meant to do or maybe just forgot? Alright bro, that Froslass battle was pretty fucking awesome, I ain't gonna lie! The main reason I really enjoyed it was due to the way it affected Ash, especially that during Frosslass' introduction! This battle actually reminds me of another pokefic that uses sort of the same style of fighting and thought process of the trainers. It's one of my all time favorites called 'Triumvirate'. It's a bit on the older side, but it's still post mega-evolution and the advanced battles are still as fucking crazy as this was. So if you want to check out a fic with cool battles and a fantastic story, then I highly recommend it :). That said, great job on the last battle! It's awesome how you incorporated photography lingo to Viola's moveset. Really made her battle unique and fun to read. Might this be one of the reasons you studied other material? To come up with some unique battle styles for the rest of the gym leaders and elite trainers? Because if so, that's some hardcore dedication to your story! I'm hyped to see the next battle! Interesting... So you're implementing the advanced team style in this fic, huh? I was wondering if you were going to do that :). It makes the most sense when it comes to Ash having to battle the gyms, since there wouldn't be a challenge at all without it. Though, I do have to wonder if you'll have him battle a full 6 vs 6, or the same canon teams, only with more experienced gym pokémon taking their place (kinda like what Brock did in Pokémon Origins). I do gotta say though. Earning flags sounds kinda lame :/...
