So he's done it, what's next? Training with Ichigo? What do you picture Kisuke's hallow mask looking like?

Seeing Kisuke become hallowfied will be something and it'll give him an excuse to train/see the others and Ichigo more. Have you decided if and what pairing/s this story will have?

Hm... Maybe this can help them expand on "why" Ichigo is so atypical to them, why his Hollow could reach Shinji's to call for help, why he and Shiro can work so well together instead of fighting for control? If it's not only him, but Kisuke and Benihime are also atypical in a similar way... it opens up a lot more speculation on "why" aside from being a trap.
The other Visored, they got their changes traumatically but also everything surrounding those events compounded the trauma pretty badly. They were in a battle, taken down as they were forcefully changed, woke up Different and finding out they couldn't be fixed, then instead of anyone but Kisuke and co. helping them settle they got slapped with an execution order and had to run to a very different place, a different world to what they were used to. All in the very first days they were changed.
In contrast, Ichigo's story has him changing in a cell, his spirits first reaching out to him successfully while trying to help him survive - logic that holds up because if he died there so do they, no matter their opinions of their wielder. They couldn't have escaped alone, any of them, and Shiro was already aware enough and smart enough to have possibly realized that while still trapped. He called himself Ichigo's Instincts for a reason, after all, and with what the others already speculated about Shiba Battle Instincts could they decide it was plausible that Shiro was the right kind of sensible to come to that realization before ever managing to get Ichigo to hear him?
Plus no other Visored is a dual wielder, so having a second spirit present being something helpful to harmony can be an explanation no one can refute, especially if Kisuke is the one claiming such - he could have been theorizing aplenty since "stabilizing Ichigo".

The original crop of Visored also kind of panicked. When they figured out at least some of what happened, that their zanpakuto were hollowfied, they made a lot of assumptions and lashed out, forcing their disoriented and distressed partners away and down instead of trying to communicate past any initial trouble. Kisuke and Benihime are far more aware of the possibilities even back before the time travel dropped more knowledge on them, and have a different mindset, Kisuke being so much a Scientist, so cautiously poking within due to curiosity really does fit him, rather than solely trying to repress, meaning he'd have a better chance than the others to actually hear her and realize she isn't any more mindless than she's ever been, just a little different. (Also, 'Hime has always been a bloodthirsty b****, by all accounts, so there might be a little less difference there than in some.)
If it isn't just Shinji and Ichigo being cuddly, but Kisuke too, maybe they'll wonder if it's a Hollow Instincts Seeking Pack thing? Shinji was effectively an Alpha to the group, a leader, and with this theory then that could be part of why he was the only one who "heard" Shiro calling for help - he already subconsciously "listens" for the other Visored. Recognizing a baby-Visored is serious trouble would push an elder packmate to rush to help, in the pack-theory, and its not like any of the others have been in so much hazardous trouble when the rest weren't yet? So how would they know they can't do the same? And now that the idea is there, they might be more likely to actually try it even if only subconsciously. Kisuke was already aware Visored were possible when he changed, unlike literally all of the others, so coupling that calming reduction in panic with his close relationship with his Extremely Protective And Bloodthirsty zanpakuto and its kind of plausible he "didn't entirely notice" at first while all disoriented and dazed by the explosion and shift and so didn't try to dominate and fight off his hollowfied partner. And so was more freely affected by the ...less violent, instincts the others hadn't gotten around to noticing, like being cuddly with people who feel familiar and safe, especially while less than fully healthy himself. Just like "newly escaped" Ichigo was with Shinji.

It'd be good for all three of them to have an acceptable cover to let some of those habits and needs free-er, to be able to indulge them more easily so they aren't stressing themselves out as badly all the time.

Poor Kisuke, though, is going to have to leave his labs for a while, there's no way the other Visored will let him stay off without them while so newly changed. Maybe in enough time with enough training to be absolutely certain no one can detect the differences they'd let him go back to running the Shoten more visibly, with misgivings, but that would take years probably, just to get them comfortable with the idea no matter how quickly he manages to master the necessary abilities.
His own actual-progress might help make Ichigo's seem a little less meteoric and alarming? Between Kisuke's mindset of breaking down and understanding as much of everything he puts his mind to as possible (the most concise explanation I can manage of what I've come to refer to as a natural scientist's mindset), and his long experience with his very bloodthirsty zanpakuto and the accompanying instincts implied by her, I really can't see Kisuke taking as long as some in at least mastering all the basics post-hollowfication. Some of the instincts aren't that different from what Benihime already favored, and he'd be poking and prodding at near enough every little bit else in an effort to decipher it from his new vantage point. His curiosity overcoming the others' edicts to Not Do A Thing was going to happen regardless, it's just a question of How, When, and Which Bits Specifically.
And seeing Kisuke get the hang of a lot of stuff so damned fast, plus his own speculation as to "why", would make Ichigo's "rapid mastery" (which quite frankly in some ways is actually a lot slower than his original gain of it) seem less drastically strange and out of place. Especially if it's Kisuke's commentary of how little has changed in Benihime in some ways that sparks someone other than our travelers in considering the "cooperation" angle out loud as an explanation, and only i/then/i someone points at how Ichigo only escaped because Shiro and Ossan worked together to reach him, teach him, and then as a cooperative trio they escaped.
Boom. A way to get the others contemplating cooperation with their Hollows as an option to think about rather than outright reject, without explaining the time-travel.
