And Viggo is once again back in his villain role. Seriously, Krogan betrayed him along with Johann and then Viggo had his short redemption. There aren't enough stories with him as an ally, I can only count the number of stories found where he was, on one hand.

One issue I have is that when Hiccup and Astrid left they diden't free the other dragons in the arena

Nice start. Let's see where it will get us. Plot is not very original but some of the best fanfiction, at least in my opinion, have very similar start to yours. So I'll just wait and see.

Its not a new plot by any means, but it doesnt make it any less intresting a new take on it. However, you did have a few inconsistencies in the story: you say Hiccup sees the morning aproaching and Stoick getting home soon? People leave their home in the morning, not arrive. Still regarding the time, after that, you say its midnight and they want to put a few islands between them before morning, which obviously cant happen before if it was already dawn.
The other thing, is that nobody mentions Astrids disapearence.
