No, yeoui genuinely just ways that much that only mori can really use it properly. I remember during ragnarok he throws it to a goddess (who had stopped the moon from falling) and it just tears her arms off with its weight.

The way yeoui works That someone has to have an equal or more strength and son wukong. If you don’t you basically going to get your arms ripped off. Because we have to remember this was a pillar under the ocean. Oh and the reason why mori can call it to him because it’s connected to him. At least that’s what I know of.

I don’t understand why Michael refers to Mori as “Mori Jin” and not “Jaecheondaeseong” as that’s Mori’s god/monster name. Also hope Mori regains his armor soon so that his defenses pretty much reach the level where no one in MHA can hurt him as his armor is supposed to be god level and stuff.
Btw when you say that you don’t want Mori to be too strong where Class 1A will become irrelevant, it gives the idea that Class 1A is holding Mori down and keeping him from becoming as strong as he can be. Which sucks cause for both Mori and Mori fans as we all know how strong he can get in a pretty short amount of time through rigorous training. It’s not fair that he has to be weaker just so his classmates can be relevant. To fix that, you can just make them stronger by having him coach them or help them grow stronger so that it doesn’t seem like they’re irrelevant. Have Mori teach Deku Renewal Taekwondo or something, make Mori this goal that Bakugou wants to achieve in terms of strength, etc.
When Mori Dan fought the commissioners at the end of the GOH, he had to enter Mori Jin state to be able to beat them. Then, after some rigorous training, when he and Daewi have their war with the world government and Mori Dan has to fight the commissioners again, he didn’t need to go into Mori Jin state because he had grown that much stronger. I want to see something like that in this series.
Also, you’re forgetting that the lord of the seventh divine realm, that purple ball thing that can become all sorts of spikes and multiply an insane amount of times, now serves Mori so there’s a chance that it may be in MHA somewhere looking for him.

I had to look up how the staff works myself. And from what I could gather is that the thing can change its weight according to the wishes of its wielder. Up it's true weight of 80 million tons.

So technically Mori would simply have had reduced its weight to a point he can currently wield it at. But still... having the ability to drop a mountain on someone on command is a pretty decent trump-card to have.

Mori’s Yeoui actually weighs an INSANE amount of tons! It’s so heavy that even some gods can’t lift it with their strength (hell that pink haired goddess has her arms torn off during Ragnarok by the weight of Yeoui) as it was originally not a staff but a giant ass pillar that I think held up the world or universe or something, but anyways, the reason the Mori can wield Yeoui is because well. He’s THAT physically strong. He’s strong enough to lift the pillar that’s supposed to hold up the world or universe which even some gods can’t do. This means that if the full weight of Yeoui was dropped onto the Nomu without being lightened at all, it really would’ve been a squished mess.

Besides that, I honestly think there are only a FEW cases of some quirks being stronger than Borrowed Power and that list is less than ten. Borrowed Power on its own is op, I mean the literal first chapter showed Mujin using borrowed power to FLATTEN AN ENTIRE ISLAND! The guy, McDonald, the guy that attacked Q in his apartment at the beginning of the series had a regenerative borrowed power so strong that he literally BLEW HIMSELF UP AND HE CAME BACK! Then there’s the borrowed powers displayed during the world tournament where Mori Hui used his Yeoui to push the Vatican guy with the guns across the EMTIRE ISLAND and that guy was still fine because of using his borrowed power. Even now, with the current way things are with borrowed powers being used by everyone, even the unnamed ones put them above A LOT of the quirks that are in MHA, and even if some quirks seem superior to some borrowed powers at first, like Deans foresight ability doesn’t reach as far into the future as Nighteyes’s, they still find ways to make them superior like Dean sharing his foresight with Mori as well as being able to replay it for studying.
So yeah, Quirks honestly aren’t as great as Borrowed Powers, and it makes sense considering that the ones that Borrowed Powers borrow power from are ACTUAL GODS AND INFLUENTIAL FIGURES!

Besides that, I kind of hope that Mori takes Deku on as his student and teach him Renewal Taekwondo because not only does that help them bond and even give Deku an honestly better fighting style than the whole only punches thing he did to imitate All Might (which doesn’t work for him because All Night’s whole fighting style is built for his big, muscular build instead of Deku’s smaller and more agile one) and shoot style which was pretty much him copying Iida and when he did that, it was like he just dropped punches all together. Like imagine a Full Cowling Deku doing a Renewal Taekwondo triple kick or something. It will also kind of give a person Mori can confide in and tell the truth to because I’m pretty sure Mori’s whole fight with Michael as well as all the stuff they did during it didn’t go unnoticed and Deku would be the type to ask questions. Sure Mori may believe that Deku wouldn’t believe him but I think after figuring out the whole OFA thing, cause it won’t be too hard to figure out after a while, Deku will tell Mori that if he can get a quirk like OFA then pretty much anything could be possible... and he’ll say that up until he learns about the Gods and how weak the likes of All Might actually are compared to them which being the fan boy he is, he’ll deny it because well... it’s ALL MIGHT. Such a thing should be impossible at least for Deku but after some processing and listening, he’ll accept the truth and Mori will have someone to talk to about the truth about what’s going on the kind of threats that are actually out there that can kill everyone. Also, if Mori does leave the MHA world at some point and goes back to his, Deku knowing Renewal Taekwondo will be like Mori had left his mark on the world.

I hope at some point, maybe a grand finally, Mori and all the other gods that are in MHA get their full power back and essentially back to their prime, and Mori has this giant battle for the fate of the world with them that shakes the Earth and even causes huge amounts of damage to the world. A Mori with mastered technique and skill plus all his power and gear that had been lost vs all the gods. An epic battle indeed with maybe Deku and others coming in to assist when they can though not that much cause they’ll be at a huge risk and can easily die if not careful.

This chapter was well worth the wait! You never fail to impress me every chapter, and I always get chills when I read your fic! I hope you and your family are feeling better and I'm looking forward to the next one!

His staff's weight can be changed according to Mori's commands or desire, but will always keep the same weight regardless of it's size. This means that other powerhouses could possibly wield it, but not command it like Mori can. Amazing story and I hope you do not get writer's block.
