God bless the remake that revived the Cleon fandom with enough force to turn us all into Tyrants. The original story, "Piece of Normal", was already a gem in the archive, and this prequel isn't any different. Quirky, charming, earnestly embarrassing just like the two teenage survivors we love. I like how close you got them, laying secrets bare to each other, close enough that they can discover a little piece of love in fear/alcohol-induced euphoria but still having so much room to grow.
