What a delightful story. Even the summary at the top played nicely into it.

I've come across the idea that Danny has become the new Ghost King by defeating Pariah Dark but the idea that Jazz has become his new knight is a unique one.

I suppose I could object the to first question where Danny asks about her name which could have been answered as "Soul Shredder" rather than " I don't have one" it would have ended the story right there.

Also about 10,000 years ago the ice age was just ending. Humans had stone tools but no metal work.

This is so cool! I really hole you decide to expand on this idea, I’ve read stories in which Danny’s the ghost king before, but Jazz being his knight? That’s so cool and creative and I need more of it!

a perfect twist. i've never been wildly keen on the danny ghost king idea, but this is beautiful and feels super natural. sapient ghost artifacts? yes please. :)
