You my good sir have a talent for turning war torn fantasy h-series settings into amazing stories. Both this and the night unfurls are very, very good. Though imo this one is better as the Hunter's adversaries are given faces and personality and there is more character development and interaction (though you have fixed this in your remake, so moot point i guess) and are not just mindless rabble. I do hope that you continue this and The night unfurls and i eagerly await the next chapter for this as it hasn't gotten an update in quite some time compared to the night unfurls. Not that i'm complaining.

I did a crash course of MGE before reading this fic, and I gotta say, for an H-series the topic of corruption and monster transformation is fine, I suppose. But as a narrative, ot's rather uncomfortable and it made me hesitate to continue at a certain point. Nevertheless, I was quite surprise how good you continue the plot, especially when we got into the Oberon League. Sierra, Ancalagon, Nial and the still human Sasha are all great characters and the more I read, the more I want to know how they're doing.

Having Sierra as a possible new hunter, or an apprentice to Cyril is great. Hope to see something similar with how you accomplished it with your other fic, especially with Sanakan, my favorite of his apprentices. It's too bad Ancalagon doesn't think too highly of Cyril (yet, I hope) if she knew what she has in her hands...

As I said, I like the concept of the Oberon League, as a neutral nation, as an alternative to the extreme (both Order and Demons) and really like the declaration of war, not only it gives Cyril a purpose, but it the cards are playes correctly, ir could be beneficial.

The elephant in the room is, of course, the Demon extremist. The are nearly irredimible. As much as they preach they're aren't like their ancestors, I'd argue they're worse. I'm very much a 'Give liberty or death' kind of guy. So when people loose their minds and humanity, it's a not a pleasant thing to see. Like I said, as an H-series, it really doesn't mean much, but when you develop the characters, see a glimpse of who they are, it's perturbing to know what they end up being.

In all honesty, I hope the Sabbath obsessed with the Eldritch Truth, ends up bringing the beast scourge so that the demons have a bad time. It's not out of malice, but more because they're overpowered. Except for Cyril and Ancalagon, nobody is truly safe from the corruption of the demons, so if they're attacked, it will even things out. And give Cyril more of a purpose. And it will bring the demons down a few pegs. There's nothing more annoying than a delusional, self-grandious asshole. And it seems most demons fit that description.

I don't have much to say about the Order. Most seem like religious zealots. I hope the valkyries prove to be more reasonable. Also, they're corruptable too, which I think is a little bullshit. The demons have too much advantage.

My biggest hope is to see the League standing over both the Order and the Extremist. Also, the Hunter killing Arthur and Lilith... and their children.

Alright! That explains why the good hunter couldn’t talk to the doll within the dream. Neat, I get it now! Hope things will turn out well for Sera’s and Cyril.

Aaaaaaaah i see, well that explains his personality and why he’s acting the way he is. He is “lost”, and the consequences of denying will soon come to fruition where he must upheld the mantle. Similar to a heroes journey. Good work.

Man, for a man who doesn’t care for this city not it’s people he is certainly sparing a lot of “important” characters that pillage and rape innocents. It’s a bit hypocritical to what’s happening and I’m not seeing any truth to this storytelling. What I mean by that is how the author is kinda using his influence to make certain things happen. A lot of coincidences Im reading, Hunter is about to kill and then bam something stops him from doing so. What the fuck, he has no problem killing everyone else. Why do these characters that do the stupidest shit survive for another day? It’s like whenever the author gives us some context on a monster character they live. Is it because of their neutrality? I really need to see this Greilia character heal some heroes and human innocents because if she is just healing monsters then that’s just utter bull. And Jesus fuck is this guy so gritty and edgy. Hating his RESPONSIBILITIES! Doesn’t he have a CERTAIN DOLL to talk to about his problems and nightmares? It just seems odd that he doesn’t visit her every time he sleeps. It’s clear he’s bearing this alone but he knows he has someone to talk to about his secrets and pain.

Now for a disclaimer, it’s clear there are more chapters. I’m just commenting out of my reactions from the story so far. It’s like watching a friends reaction to a movie trilogy. How they get emotional to whatever happens in the story. Either through binge or having a weekly movie night. SO please take my comments not as flame or hate mail. I haven’t said anything rude to the author personally, just saying on my thoughts this story crossover. Take it with a grain of salt.

For the guy below me, Doll is the Good Hunter caretaker, and possibly his best friend in the dream. And boy, that dragon is in way over her head. She does not know his true nature as a Great One, ir that he has slain many gods in his wake. Wonder how...no, when the plan backfired on her, how can she fair with the Butcher him? My guess? Him, possibly lose an eye, her, lose her head

I've never played bloodborn so I can only go off what you write. Who's doll?

Old news:
Now Cyril's on a Hunter's errand to root out some shitty nobles. Nothing new.

Good news:
Sierra's consciousness is still actually intact. Just need to make it surface again; not an easy feat.

Bad news:
Sierra getting bonked hard during the Hunter's Blood Moon SOMEHOW increase her Insight and landed her in the Hunter's Dream. Boy, Cyril's in for a big surprise once he decides to drop in on his mentor's old workshop.
