a novel idea to have Jaune as a ninja, even a dorky one. however, the constant change from first to third or first to a different first with no discernible marker, sometimes in the same sentence, makes this one a pass. even if you did end up fixing it in later chapters, think about coming back and fixing this one, as it is the intro to your story.

Nice chapter I kinda like how the whole ice queen bitt and the ruby hood thing went. There is away for jaune to have some Naruto like ability’s without chakra being a thing and without making him OP as hell. You could have jaunes regular cannon semblence be slightly tweeted using his aura to amplify things rather than purely amplifying aura cut having that cause him a lot of stamina. You could have jaune be like the early Naruto kakashi having him overload one of his eyes with so much aura it recreates the movement tracking/predicting part of the Sharingan turning temporarily red because of pumping so much aura into his eye causing some blood vessels in one of his eyes also causing aura exhaustion with prolonged use (keeping him from being too op.) you could also Have jaune create the Raikiri/Chidori by training with Nora figuring out how to amplify his own body’s bio electricity and concentrate it in his palm for a short while in his hand (also causing aura exhaustion for similar effect and to keep him from being too op)kinda have jaune start to develop the technique to give a temporary emergency quick boost to Nora then develop it from there. Also since even the cannon jaune can pump his aura and mess with others aura with his semblence you could have the disorientation and effect that zabuza explains in his fight with kakashi to be created by boosting jaunes opponents aura with his own in a way that puts them in rhythm with jaunes own timing and predictions.

Pretty interesting chapter, i don't like so much Weiss' scenes in fanfiction if they must be like canon, but you portrayed them pretty good. Glad there is already some upgrades, but i hope the others will have them as well. Interesting view about semblance, curious to see whath will happen when Maidens will happear. And i hope in general Aura here is more than a forcefield, i personally prefer when charachters can make it flow as they want trough the body and their weapons, it makes more sense in my opinion and is much more interesting(and i also believe it could have much more to do with Grimm). Same requestion about pairings, keep up the good work and see you soon.
