Very interesting chapter here Red. Mostly buildup, but necessary and well done build up. Seeing actual dissent and strife within Say'ri's army makes sense and was well handled, you write her character extremely well by the way. And every single moment between Alex and Cordelia nearly gave me tooth rotting cavities lol. Always so sweet, and they are indeed *that* couple. That last conversation between Severa and Alex was very informative and it shows a side of Severa's character that we rarely see in most FE stories (plus I see that sequel baiting lol). And finally, a moment of introspection for Alex that we haven't seen in a while. He's been through a lot, hasn't he? Glad to see him persevering through it all still. Overall, good chapter Red! I'm excited for the next one!

Very good chapter, Red. It was nice to see Alex make amends with Tharja, who was very in character too, great work. His little chats with Chrom and Robin were well done too. Good insight into the situation and how everyone is handling it. Finally, BAB IS BORN! Alex is in for a time lol

This was a nice side chapter. Very heavy, but great conversation between Robin and Tiki that really shows how deep their relationship has become. Followed by another swing of the feels hammer with a much needed talk between Severa and Cordelia, excellent emotion there. Morgan's part was quirky and interesting, with good lore building and stakes setting thrown in thanks to Mikael's outsider perspective on things. And finally, the best part of this chapter, Verrat and Grima. Really putting on the Palps and Vader vibes there eh? (I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE YOU CLEVER BASTARD LOL). This was a really well executed scene that really made me feel for Verrat. Poor guy could never catch and break, and never will. A shame. Anyways, really well done chapter Red. I'm excited for the next one!

This certainly didn't feel like a filler chapter. I enjoyed everything form the feels train with robin, the talks with Mikael and Morgan, and ofcourse our poor boy Verrat. Excellent use of descriptive visuals matched with some good dialogue. Nicely done.

I started reading this fic around summer and I was instantly hooked. I love how you handled Alex’s character and growth throughout the story. I also enjoyed all the interactions between the characters and the original content you’ve introduced into the story. I’m excited to see how this all ends. As for what story I’d like see, I’m casting my vote for genealogy of the holy war, if only because from what I’ve read and heard, it is one of the darker fire emblem games out there and I’d like to see your take on it. Either way the final say is yours and I can’t wait to see comes next after Aberration.

Good chapter, i especially like the final scene between Verrat and Grima. About the poll on your profile, i sincerely hope the Genealogy SI wins because it would be the first i've ever read but considering that no one seems to care about the very old FE games i'm not gonna get my hopes up.

Quite the pulse pounding chapter here! Great action, with some tense moments, combined with an epic duel between Robin and Fauder. A Risen Taguel is a terrifying thought, and it gives me ideas for my own fic (evil laugh). Finally, Naga's one and only appearance so far lived up to the hype. Talk about a near biblical description of her, which totally worked and made her seem even more otherworldly in her dragon form. Extremely well done there, Red. All in all, fantastic chapter! I'm excited for the next one.
