a real shame that this is not finished. I recently started reading Frasier fics for fun and yours are excellent.

Once again, I am rendered nearly speechless by one of your stories. I almost wonder if you specifically planned to leave us on a cliffhanger, in order to force each individual reader to imagine their own ending to this magnificent story. Regardless, I do hope that you will one day return and surprise us all, even after over a decade has passed. Definitely one of the most well written fics I have read

I will never be at rest with the fact the last chapter was never published. I might be 13 years late but I still remember the first time I got through this entire fic before coming to this final chapter, realising that there was still one more to be written. This story was way too enticing to be left hanging like this all these years and knowing I'll never get to see how the author originally intended it to end. I'm so dead inside. I wanted to come back and read this (despite knowing how upset I'd be getting to the end) because it's just SO well-written. It has my heart twisting every damn time with just the sheer angst and beauty of it all.
Author, if you're out there, I would PAY for the final chapter. I would sell my SOUL for the final chapter. I will never be able to rest without knowing how this ends.

I know this story is well over a decade old now, but I've only just found it and now I desperately want to find out how it ends!

This is beautiful. I love the slow-burn pace of it, the sensation of utter, grasping hope, the misunderstanding and miscommunication on both sides and the tacit agreement, despite that, all of it coming together for a truly heart-rending whole. I simply can't tell how this will work out either way, nor can I decide whether I would prefer a happy ending over a heart-breaking one. Their angst is so glorious that I almost don't want it to end!

AND THAT FINAL CLIFFHANGER - truly brilliant!

Please, if you are ever inspired to finish this, I would be very appreciative - as, I'm sure, would be several other readers.

Oh, wow. You do pack a lot into a chapter. But this is so good. I love all the inner thoughts N/D are having as they wrestle with what to do over this weekend. I can see that this story's only going to get better w/ each chapter!

Oh my god! Please finish this if your still out there I know it's been nine years but please please. Such an amazing story needs to be finished.

I know that I echo the sentiments of others when I say that I'm a bit disappointed that this truly amazing and wonderful story isn't finished , but I hope the reason for that is because you're at work on writing what is sure to be a bestselling novel! Your talent is amazing and I cannot express in enough words how in love I am with this story! Therefore I find myself pleading with you to finish it. You've worked hard on this and you should be very proud. It's by far the best fan fiction I've ever read. It's moving, funny, suspenseful and romantic and has all the makings of a novel-one that I would read over and over again. I can only imagine that the ending would be completely amazing. I've read your other Niles and Daphne stories and your writing has improved greatly with this story, so please take that as a compliment as I thoroughly enjoyed your previous stories as well.

I'm glad you included Daphne and Donny's break up because I'd been curious as to what transpired. And the "I love you's" were wonderful even if they weren't said the way Daphne had hoped. Loved the reference to "Mixed Doubles". This is by far my favorite chapter of this story! I absolutely love stories where Niles and Daphne are comforting one another and I'm glad that Niles was there for Daphne. Such a beautifully written chapter and one I'll definitely be reading again.

Oh wow, the secret is really out! I just loved Niles self-consciously telling Daphne about the first time he saw her and what she was wearing. Not surprising at all that he would remember every detail. And him being worried about her when she went for a walk in the woods. This story keeps getting better and better with every chapter!

More heartbreak for both of them! I wish they would have had the courage to admit their feelings to one another but I loved Niles getting so angry about Donny breaking up with Daphne. That alone should tell Daphne how he feels about her. My heart is aching for Daphne right now.

So heartbreaking that Daphne still thinks that Niles isn't in love with her anymore but what a revelation that she and Donny broke up! I hope Niles isn't angry with Daphne for keeping that secret from him, although I wouldn't really blame him. It does make for an awkward situation.

So many things to love here... Your description of Niles wearing the sweater after Daphne has worn it is so wonderful, I could just picture it. And I can picture them working on the puzzle together and solving the mystery. Very clever and very impressive the way you came up with that idea. But I think my favorite part has to be Daphne putting the blanket on Niles when he comes in from the cold to warm him up. Sigh...

I love Daphne wearing Niles' sweater. That is incredibly sweet and romantic, and the romantic tension here is just wonderful.
