I find it way unrealistic that the first friends Lucy would make are Elena and "the gang." Exclusively. I doubt Elena would even risk getting close to anyone knew in fear of dragging them into supernatural danger and drama. It would be more realistic if there was some supernatural event that drew them all together.

I discovered this fic last night and I just couldn't stop reading! It's so good! I love your writing style, the story is so well paced and the descriptive is really good. And I love Lucy so much, she's such a great, funny and relatable character. And the Lucy/Damon dynamics! I love them sooo much together, they are perfect. Best couple ever, I think. I can't wait to read what happens next!

But Jenna’s only Elena’s aunt legally and because Elena was raised by her sister? And Jeremy’s technically Elena’s cousin not her brother they were raised as siblings and that’s why they are siblings. It doesn’t really makes sense for Jenna to see Lucy as her niece or Jeremy her brother seeing as she wasn’t raised with them in that way. They care about her obviously and even more deeply now that they know of her connection to Elena, so family yes, cousins yes because Jeremy’s uncle is Lucy’s father, Elena’s bio sister yes but she really has no ties to them in any other way because they have no history together. Elena seeing her as a sister makes sense because biologically that is her sister and she wants to know her. I understand that making Lucy closer to Elena’s family makes sense for in the long run of your story. Sorry I don’t usually critique at all and this is your story and it’s great I just found that strange, again so sorry continue to write whatever and however you please I just pointed that out because I was confused by that choice but I’m sure you have your reasons!

I just reread this entire thing, and I forgot how much I love it! I love the little changes you make, like this whole Mason thing which hopefully means he stays alive, because that never happens and I always thought it was totally unnecessary! Interesting to see what changes the rest of this season, and I can’t wait to see her interact with the originals! If she can see the good in Damon, I wonder if that means she will see the good in Klaus. I hope so, not to make it romantic but because I’ve always thought he needed a best friend to talk to. And she’d totally ship Klaroline in my opinion... or if you do make it a triangle, I think I’d be okay with that too. And I think she’d love Elijah because she clearly has good taste and Elijah is great! What a classy classy man!

I hope you do something interesting with the originals storyline anyway, get Lucy to talk some sense into the Scooby gang to make things easier. Just be like, “Elena all you have to do is donate some blood every month and he’ll leave us alone, just do it”. I didn’t understand what the big problem they had with that was, klaus was clearly going to protect her because of the hybrids so just do what he wanted, it wasn’t exactly hard and I feel like Lucy would point that out.

I love her and Damon, and I really hope they work out! Their banter and chemistry is great, I just hope Elena doesn’t ruin it and get all involved, because I’ve never been a big fan of her character and I love the fact that you’ve had Lucy call her up on her cr*p a couple of times, because she annoys the hell out of me!

Anyway, sorry for the long review! I love this, I love Lucy and I can’t wait to read more! Thanks so much for writing this!
