An excellent look into the messed up head and history of Mercury. Especially when he makes note of how to break a person's spirit but doesn't seem particularly bothered by it himself.

I'm gonna be honest, I thought this would be some stupid edgy shit when I started. but it turned out to be so much more, while taking up no more space than was necessary to get the message across; I applaud you and I hope you continue to right as long as possible.

A beautiful one shot involving one of my favorite characters (his fighting style is pretty nice). Well done!

In all seriousness a very nice short and sweet story. I very much enjoyed. You could see where it was going with the "careful that he's not better at it than you." line but it didn't rely on shock and even if it did the whole neighborhood pets segment more than made up for it.

You can really feel Mercury's nostalgia in this one-shot.

Wow, this is legit incredible. Mercury has really started to become one of my favorite characters for the character depth just below the surface and this is pretty much exactly why.
