I adored the bond between Tony and Peter so I was extremely saddened when things turned out the way they did in 'Endgame'. I went into 'Far From Home' knowing I was going to miss it, a lot, and came out pleasantly surprised by how they had instead managed to expand upon and deepen the bond between Peter and Happy.

In some small way it definitely made it easier.

I'd already liked the glimpses we'd had on-screen of their own unique friendship as it evolved, and your story fitted into that perfectly with both of them (and Tony, when he appeared) completely in character all the way through.

I think my favourite was the final chapter. Happy acknowledging, even if only to himself, that he does genuinely care about Peter in a familial way and equally Peter *knowing* that even without the words.

I also chuckled more than once at the customary humour which was woven through it so seamlessly.

I really did enjoy this.

All of these are great snap shots! Perfect characterization plus it was touching to see how Happy knew that Tony would take care of everything for the kid.

This is so adorable! You're an amazingly gifted writer who tells wonderfully written stories. Tony may have been Peter's mentor/father figure, but Happy is surely the "cool uncle" and I truly love this side of him. Especially in light of the whole Disney and Sony saga regarding our beloved Spidey character, Peter's interactions with Happy, in particular, will be missed the most...but at least their relationship can continue to blossom in fan fics. Keep up the beautiful work! I absolutely love to read more stories where we see concerned/overly protective Happy (in any scenario where Peter is hurt or sick). Looking forward to another update!

Also, it's such a pleasant surprise to come across another chapter of your story, especially considering that I'll be busy all this coming week with exams. So yes, I enjoy having a break to read your work! Once again, you've done a beautiful job in capturing the relationship between the two. I've always liked how Happy first thought of Peter as an annoyance (throughout most of Homecoming), but then he respected him and became a bit protective of him after the incident with Vulture. And then, with FFH, he was even more overprotective of Peter (and telling Skrull Fury "We'll call you")...ahh, just love it. In any case, and sorry for my rambling, the main point is this: I love your depiction and characterization of these characters - particularly in the POV of Happy. Love the sick fics and hurt fics where we, as readers and fans, get to see more layers of Happy. Keep up the wonderful work! :D
