Genma and Nodoka had to be kidding. Even if Ranma HADN'T visited Akane first before he came to see them, and hadn't already offered to Akane and the twins with him back to the Naruto world, what did his parents expect exactly? *lol* seeing how old the twins are, and how long Ranma has been gone since ANYONE has seen or heard from him in that long, Genma and Nodoka really thought Ranma would still be SINGLE and AVAILABLE to take up with Akane and marry her and be a dad to HER kids after being away for sixteen years? The way Genma was doing the 'the schools are going to be joined' dance, you'd think the old panda has been thinking his only sons been living a celibate and sex free life with no wife or OTHER kids all these years, if he and Nodoka really thought Ranma was back to finally marry Akane, or that he even WANTED to marry her after all these years of being away or that he might have started another family, with a wife who might not want to share HER man with his ex-girlfriend. Even if the NWC gang didn't know WHY Ranma was gone all this time, the fact that he WAS gone, with no contact with ANYONE even the woman he unknowingly left behind pregnant, should have been a clue to something as the years went by with no word. In their insane minds, it could have meant either he cut off all ties to his past, or he might be dead as the reason why nobody's seen or heard from him in all this time. *lol*
