A foreword to explain just what "Blood" is supposed to be wouldn't be out of place, considering I feel it fair to say the vast majority of those reading this will have just come from the previous story in the series which made no mention of it, and didn't expect you to add a third side to the crossover, let alone one they've almost surely never heard of.

I really enjoyed this. Getting to see it cross over with the previous story and interact with Nimue was fun. I had never heard of blood before this, but it seems really cool. Reading between the lines though, I worry that my favorite parts are actually your genius AU additions and I would be saddened by the original. We'll see.

I am very impressed by your proposed crossover of Blood and Stargate SG-1; but the truth is that I have always tought chiropterans as having an alien origin, extraterrestrial beings (remember "the fifth base theory" in the anime), and I enjoyed that you have situated them among the elder races of the galaxy (including endow them with telepathy, which doesn't appear in the anime/manga). Another grateful surprise was the change in the Saya's behavior and personality, making hers more chiropteran (vampiric) and humanless, more similar to her twin sister; and both Joel and Amshel deserved their tragic end, because they were authentic human monsters (how many alleged "scientists" weren't monsters?).
I'm intrigued to know more about what is (or will be) the role of the Ascended Beings (and the Ori) in this plot: in the one past Swarm Wars, in the future and all the rest.

Would be interesting to see how the wraith and the swarm would interact

Queen of Storms? I thought Nimue was just the water. What has she gotten up to? Also, that gag about Thor in Vegas portrays either peacetime, or that they needed to really break out of the stresses of war time.

Yes! We now have the foundation of this new coalition that you've been hinting at for awhile that is supposed to help with the Milky Way's future fight against the Ori (among other similar threats I assume). From the sound of it, the Chiropterans would certainly be some of the best allies considering their history (and their immense record of technology and ideas) and their own prior War and experience with the original Milky Way coalition. The one that would have eventually fought the Ori if things had changed so drastically as to eliminate (the Furlings, partly the Alterans/ Lanteans), weaken (the Asgard, partly the Alterans/ Lanteans), or demoralize all of them (mostly the Alterans/ Lanteans and the Nox).

Well, if the ships and crew donated by her were not reliable to begin with, it's pragmatism. Though it is good that she has kept some of her core beliefs and feelings despite her position and experiences in life. It helps to keep from falling into some of the pitfalls of the Goa'uld.

I think it is logical that after centuries of rule the rule will change and it cannot even be attributed to goauld. How totally overlooked Ra was simply great and undoubtedly a new experience for him.

So how will the High Council treat Nimue? Has past contact been made in the spanning years considering context suggest it has been more than two thousand between Ra's grab for power and Anubis' retreat, and the Chiropteran Swarm? Also, how far does the swarm mind telepathy reach? Could a Chiropteran ambassador actually be a direct voice of the Queens when on duty? I'm just imagining Nimue sending out a thank you for the entertainment. I'm kind of shocked Nimue still has that particular trait still in regards to compliments. Again, it has been thousands of years now to become a ruler. Oh, would the Ancirnts warn or even inform her of genestealers considering Nimue's... circumstances with the ascended.

Still trying to grasp how the chiropterans will be such game changers for the Ori. Best guess is Hive mind behavior alongside usurpation of other species. Does their genestealing still work on an Ascended plane? That seems too much so doubtful...
