Poor Percy! It must really be hard for him feeling like the rest of his family is heroes and he's the loser of the group. Him confessing to Draco was great. He didn't even plan to admit his feelings, didn't plan to admit how he felt like he was just a coward, but I really liked the exchange. It shows how Percy and Draco are both different than their families, different from the way the world sees them. I love how just meeting for drinks becomes more and the soulmate angle. I'm a complete sucker for soulmate fics. This is the first one I've read where soulmates can give each other time. I really like the idea and will probably use it for something later. Thank you for the brilliant idea. Now, back to your story! I can see the bar scene so clearly from your descriptions, the shouting, the flashes of light, and poor Draco! I loved the foreshadowing where Molly knew Arthur was her soulmate in St. Mungos'. It was neat how you reused it for Percy and Draco. I think this pairing is starting to grow on me! Great fic, loved the darkness, the fluff, the soulmates!

I love the connection that you gave Draco and Percy. I would never have thought that they'd have something in common, especially something as big as that, but they really do and you captured the essence of it perfectly. Draco and Percy were both incredibly dynamic and believable characters here, and I can totally see this happening in canon.

I've never read a soulmate!AU like this before, so it was very intriguing to find out how that worked. My heart hurt for them! They each had little mannerisms that made them totally on point with their canon selves, like Percy not liking not being in control of his actions. I loved every second of this fic, and it was totally convincing! I love your writing!

These two are beautiful and have so much potential for angst, so I'm glad you went with that sort of vibe. The moment Percy started drowning his sorrows with alcohol, I knew I was a goner.

The first interaction between them broke my damn heart, and you are rude for that. It felt so natural, though. They played well on each other's energy, and it took approximately five seconds to see how compatible they were. Then each little moment felt more natural and became a little sweeter, until it was just nothing mess than perfect.

I also like how this seemed like a redemption arc for both of them. Percy wasn't a hero; Draco was once a Death Eater. Though their connection isn't the same, they still share it. They are both still outcasts in their own right, and it hurt.

Your characterisation of Draco was a masterpiece. I loved his defensive snarking that melted into him being the guy we knew he could be.

Mollys story about her and Arthur made me melt a little (and all the kudos for that, since I don’t love her as a thing). The soulmate thing, with the giving each other years, was adorable and I’m entirely here for that.
