This is an excellent ‘deleted scene’ because the way the show went after Gwen was free of her brainwashing, there seemed to be no sign of damage or trauma suffered from knowing she had killed someone and could have killed Arthur. Glad to see that this issue has been noticed and written about.

Excellent story, very thought provoking. It fills in so much "behind the scenes" thoughts & trauma that never could be addressed on the show. The only part I didn't like was when Gwen blackmailed Merlin into agreeing to kill her if Morgana regained control. He never would have done it even if he gave his word because it would have destroyed Camelot just as completely as if an enchanted Gwen had killed Arthur. He would have found a way to break the spell again.
