Very interesting little one shot, dude. I honestly have to catch up with Amazing Fantasy (I admit that I lost interest in the fic).

Honestly, I like how you're portraying Bakugou in this one-shot. He's still a horrendously shitty person and even worse than canon (with how he blames his problems on Deku and seeks revenge against him). But he still has his desire to do good deep down and wants to stop Carnage's followers from murdering more people. I also like his dynamic with the Venom symbiote.

I honestly really liked Bakugou/Venom's fight with Moonfish. My only tiny nitpick with this fic is the Venom symbiote making a partial recreation of Bakugou's canon costume. It just comes off as kinda dumb to me. But that's a minor nitpick.

But my favorite scene of the entire fic is the final scene of Carnage giving a sermon to his followers. I got serious Randall Flagg vibes from him. And I like how both Muscular and Toga are his personal disciples here.

Anyway, it's a shame that this is just a one shot. I'd love to see this turn into a full fledge fic. And I'm also disappointed that there wasn't a scene in this where Bakugou goes into a fancy restaurant and jumps into a lobster tank (aka the highlight of the Venom movie).

Excellent work. You have managed to perfectly captured the Marvel's version of Joker. I commen you for that. However, would you consider putting in Toxin? Carnage's spawn and give the venom symbiote and Bakugou a (somewhat) romantic relationship?

Really great concept. Bakugo isn't exactly the perfect host for Venom, I don't think, but they work well together in this setting (Bakugo barred from the Hero path and forced to work as a vigilante). It's a nice look into what kind of hero he would have been without UA to smooth out his rough edges and make him more civilian friendly, like in recent arcs in the manga. Venom, being Venom, is right there with him in doing what needs to be with whatever means necessary, damn appearances.
My preference, if you do continue this (that ending is both a good stopping point and creates a mighty need to see more), I think would be to keep it pretty separate from the main bnha story line or Amazing Fantasy. I kinda like seeing Bakugo go through a completely different path adjacent to the Hero students. His world is not one that intersects with theirs, especially with a crazed cannibal cult going around committing mass murder. Though I admit a crossover with some variation of bnha or your own Amazing Fantasy would be pretty cool.

Now THIS, this is awesome! I know it will sound like I'm begging but PLEASE bring this version of Bakugou either into the canon or the Amazing Fantasy Story at least once? While I think his and Venom's dynamic and crusade to take down Carnage are awesome, you balanced that out to make me feel just as frustrated and angry with this version because of hatred for Izuku like with his canon version in Season 1. His lack of responsibilty and incapability to own up to his mistakes would dissapoint Izuku(both canon and Amazing Fantasy) while Bakugou(Both versions) would be pissed that a version of himself, in his words, "Would be so fucking retarded to actually smoke and drink like a jackass and not expect that shit to bite him in the ass. That's why I stayed clean, wasn't fucking worth it." I imagine he would say something along those lines before laughing in his face about how pathetic he is which would start a fight with the no doubt pissed Symbiote wielding explosion boy. Maybe a team-up between Amazing Fantasy Izuku and Katsuki could work together reluctantly to teach this version responsibility...by beating the shit out of him!

Well sucks on this Bakugo, when Izuku reaches 100% Full Cowling even his Venom power will be REALLY outclassed. Great start.
