The different perspective actually helped the story. We don't often get a perspective from the Oompa Loompas who are, in effect, having their world invaded by full sized visitors who are mostly just after free sweets.
Wonka may have planned the tour down to the last detail but he doesn't seem to have made any allowances for the fact that people can sometimes act out of character or do things that he doesn't expect, like Isabelle. At least he tried to rescue her but that may have been more for Charlie's sake, of course. And now Charlie will be on his own on the tour which will make things more interesting and will allow Wonka to take over as his mentor for a while.

Ahhhh I love this chapter! The POV changes were so well written, I love the Oompa Loompas views and how they adapted to everything that happened. Fantastic update!

The different perspective was not jumpy to me as a reader. It fluidly transitioned from Charlie, to Wonka, and to the oompa loompa (sorry can't remember the name).

I wonder how Charlie is going to take the tour without her though. They are very close and seeing your sister figure almost drown is traumatizing...

I mean, I always wondered myself why nobody jumped in to try and help the boy, I know it was Wonka plane but he really shouldn’t be surprised that at least one person has a soul haha

So I recently got back into this fandom and picked up your story.
Wow, its so very different. I like the changes and wonder how everything is gonna olay out now.

I kinda like it, but I'm having a hard time picturing the kids. I know you mushed the characters together, so I guess you can read whichever ones you like into this.

Greetings! This is turning out to be a very interesting story and I'm loving your creative combinations of worlds and characters. Also, futuristic part is definitely something new. I wander what role will it play later. And, I must add, I really like Izzy as a character. Creative, intelligent, brave.. while still staying human and thankfully not some m.s. Her point of view is so fun to read about. Considering situations around, her observations seem like they don't follow the logic of the story (which makes it even more interesting (And funny! Especially the part with dance routine on the stairs))And on the same note, good work combining musical nature of the movies with your story. Generally, there are many inventive moments I really enjoy and appreciate. I hope you post again soon and pardon any mistakes, English is not my native language.

Never in my life did I think I would read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory fanfiction.

I regret nothing, I like this very much.

I was just curious if there was any fanfiction. (Honestly why wouldn't there be now that I think about it.)

I wasn't disappointed, this is the first one I picked that looked interesting, and I wasn't disappointed.

Also I noticed that Violet seems to have moments where she is better the then other kids, not counting Charile of course. Also is that a tiny crush I see forming with Charlie? Either way its cute.

That was pretty brave of Izzy in my opinion. And I think it’s good that she cares enough to help someone in danger; that’s more than I can say for most of the tour group.

I love this! Everytime I watch this movie or read a fanfic about this scene I wonder “why does nobody jump in after him?” I mean I get they’re horrible people but come on.

Also is Wonka angry with her? He didn’t say anything after she was pulled out, he didn’t even seem worried

Great chapter! I like the idea of someone trying to prevent all these things from happening but I wonder how Willy Wonka feels about it? He's planned all this from the start and now Isabelle has upset things a little. Good point about the heaviness of melted chocolate - it's harder to rescue someone from a chocolate river than we think!

Finally someone trying to help! It always bugged me that no one previously did anything and just stood there. I also think you got an accurate account of what it would be like if someone was in a chocolate river.

Now the question is what this change has affected!
