This was fun :D I loved it!

Yay! All the h/c and care for Aramis was lovely. Ugh, as someone who always has the misfortune for a cold to go to my lungs, I can sympathize with Aramis, it's so exhausting.
This was a fun adventure story and I am very much looking forward to your Whumptober prompts and your next multi-chapter fic!
Also, I just have to say that the idea of the Inseparables opening up a tavern on an island is hilarious to me and yet I could totally see that happening XD

Gah, YES! everything from poor bois having to smack Aramis around in order to help him cough everything up, to Athos pocketing pirate gold to pay for their stay, to domestic d'Art taking care of the laundry... There's so much fun here! Thank goodness he's healing but ahhh the idea of doing this all over again! I was dying at the idea of just pretending the governor has declined, just to avoid another trip, hahaha!

wow this chapter had Aramis so ill felt so bad for him being hit on the back even my back was hurting at times ! glad he's bettter now dont blame him the boys for not wanting to be on the boat again to go home

The idea of Athos drinking them out of the tavern business made me laugh so hard I nearly spilled my popcorn! Such a great way to end with brotherly love and camaraderie :) and a hunt of Aramis whomp as we all love ;)

Athos had a good idea to take the gold from the ship. They truly needed it!

“None of them had signed up for this.” I laughed a bit; I’m pretty sure joining the Inseparables, in the fanfiction world at least, is pretty much signing up for exactly this.

Also, I would have felt like murdering something when I found out the trade papers were lost. Nope. No. UGH.

Athos drinking the hypothetical tavern out of business made me smile, as did the four settling down to a farmer’s life.

I love this whole fic. Thought the treatment was nasty. Hehe.

Sidenote: Are you telling that you are going to do whumtober in this fandom? (She asked hopefully)

Well thank you for this unusual story, unusual in the setting that is, not so unusual for our boys to get into some trouble! I wonder if Tréville would have sent another team to deliver the replacement set of trade papers, I’m sure he wouldn’t have been so cruel to send our boys after this ordeal. Anyway, thanks for this good old fashioned pirate story, and I shall look forward to reading more stories from you.

Only one more? All good things must come to an end, I suppose lol. I hope Aramis gets plenty of comfort and the musketeers end up wherever they were going to begin with. Perhaps there will be a sequel?

I'm torn between worry for Aramis amd pride at my badass angst kitty for still fighting and killing two of them even in that state! And Clerc for again rising to the occasion! Thank goodness the pirates are defeated but we STILL can't even breathe easy! Literally, in Aramis's case! He did not make it this far to die from a silly lung infection! :'( but I have faith in the author :)
