Interesting fic, the premise is a little creepy, but in a good way. Although I think that too perfect thing in canon was it set off the uncanny valley effect that people get into with things like cgi, wax sculptures, animatronics, AI, etc...

That ending was terrifying in that Worm sort of way... poor Taylor...

I'm not why you feel the need to bring the S9 into this. The premise is interesting enough without adding something extraneous to distract from what's going on with the protagonists. Especially since the slow update rate means we still have a lot of unanswered questions.

I'm pretty sure that bringing up obsession during an interrogation/ psych evaluation after turning another person into a perfect version of your sister combined with the PRT/ Protectorate using Thinker support to determine if the Striker 12 Bio kinetic is off her rocker will lead to some pretty damning proof/ conclusions. If it doesn't you can bet that she'd be under some pretty intense observation/ scrutiny from that point forward.

Damn, so it sounds like the screwing around by Panacea also affected Taylor mentally which surely didn't help if she was already suffering from the information overload coma that she was already in from connecting to QA. No wonder Taylor's pretty much being described as practically a vegetable mentally from the sounds of it. I'm curious as to why people like Danny seem so damn calm about it...

I'd figure that there'd be more of a freak out considering the circumstances and that surely the PRT (which is headed by a paranoid person like Piggot who despises bio manipulation powers of any kind) and Protectorate should be more concerned. At the least, I'd think that they would be investigating Panacea AND Glory Girl fiercely considering what happened and what Panacea has said that shows obvious signs that Glory Girl's aura is responsible for this insanity and unhealthy obsession. I realize that Yamada has apparently been called, but I think that even then something else should be happening beyond Carol being Carol.

The idea of Vicky being angry that someone else with her appearance causing some trouble is, uh... fairly amusing? So Carol wants to stab Taylor or Amy? Most likely both? And Taylor is brain dead aside from thoughts of Amy? Yikes

Right..because the person who's impulsive as heck and beats the half life out of criminals way beyond legal measures has any room to talk about what someone does with her reputation wearing her face. That's if someone on the planet didnt look exactly the same even beforehand...

Huh. If no one knows how much Panacea can really do she can probably play this off as a new cape thing...Maybe...temporarily? Depending on whether Taylor is getting the standard Skitter powerset (Bugs showing up out of nowhere and a full-body makeover do not a normal cape powerset make).
