Corrin gave her all to this task and couldn't complete it, but made incredibly difficult choices all along the way, handled every situation with a strong heart and gentle soul, and I like her this way. I think that despite the drama and hurt, this is one of the happiest endings there could possibly have been, because Valla is in such good hands now.

Anankos had a compelling little arc too. It was actually a pleasure to see his viewpoint at all times in this fic, from his reconciliation with Mikoto, to understanding his own flaws thanks to Corrin, to actually choosing to leave the world in peace.

What an unusual AU... Corrin is unbelievably powerful here, yet still naive... I think she might become the character that she was originally intended to be by growing into the role of queen in a universe like this. And her constant brightness getting mixed with a tragic streak from Mikoto is actually a great subplot that has a rather poetic conclusion at the end.

I feel like Corrin would be the one to convince her father to grant Garon a peaceful end, so that Xander might ascend the throne. Although the whole matter would be quite a dark secret for her to have to keep from Nohr.
