Clio1792 chapter 2 . 10/11/2019 This was dramatic and compelling, with some fabulous intrigue; Anti-werewolf guardians Peter and Susan (Queen Susan's readiness to teach Caspian's uncle a lesson at the end of the story was great); and resourceful Lucy-an angel of mercy who still knows how to get past a lock when she needs booze or medicine. Her relationship with the avaricious Tumnus was great here-and Edmund, spymaster and wizard, was also perfect. This was a scary alternative universe, but it worked to place the fabulous four in it, and once again, they prevailed-even if Lucy didn't get her man, she definitely saved him. A fine piece, and so good to see this author back, Clio1792 |
Clio1792 chapter 1 . 10/7/2019 What a fascinating transposition! I know nothing about were wolves, but this is clever and moving (how sad, the were wolf begging to be executed by Peter and Susan; how funny the non-too-subtle competition between brother and sister to flirt with the were-wolf-in-distress, Caspian. Lucy's soured relationship with Tumnus was also intriguing here. A clever concept from an endlessly inventive writer, Clio1792 |
Saoirse7 chapter 2 . 10/5/2019 Ack! Why is this complete? One more chapter? Please? I want to know the answers to the questions you raised at the end, and maybe through their travels they'll figure out how to rid England of the Weres too. I really liked this! |
Saoirse7 chapter 1 . 10/5/2019 What a lovely little AU world you've created! It's so natural and still in character for the Four it hardly seems different. I would like to read a lot more about Mage Edmund. :) And I also really like Doctor Lucy. |
