lol, read a little bit about your profile, and i must say i agree that while snape is no hero, you give sirius and james a bit too much credit. they are bullies, plain as that. snape, lily, and the marauders were bad people. the marauders bullied snape, sometimes bordering murder, lily dated the person that tormented snape for years, what a dick move by the way, considering snape was her childhood friend. that instead of resolving with her friend the insult debacle, went ahead and dated his tormenter. they all made mistakes, some even more than the others, that lead to paths dark they may be. i judge them on the path they took to redeem themselves, disillusioned their thinking may be so. also, Dumbledore, I've now grown a dislike on bashing even on characters not dumbledore, like have they even considered that dumbledore is just an old man so tired of fighting dark lords, so set on his ways, so afraid of making many more mistakes, but not omniscient. he may be powerful yes, however he might have been disillusioned by all the responsibilities and titles given(maybe) to him that in his own mind he is in the right path. that's why i dislike bashing stories, its like its easier for authors to make a character be so evil thay they forget to write a more comprehensive antagonist. i used to like bashing stories back when i just started reading fanfiction, just because i was new to those stories then eventually read some other fanfics that expanded my perspective, that made me think more, made me consider. like some stories is just about the bashing, your just sick of it. that's why i settled on finding wish fulfillment, fix it stories that just get shit done instead of dramatic, character development, mental illness stories where some times you find the mc thinks with his dick. plus points if its still wish fulfillment but the author integrated the drama so beautifully its not shoved into your face.

In the books, it almost certainly was not the Mountain who was doing the initial raids and it was most likely the riverlords burning their own lands (something we know they were practicing during the war).
Additionally, the logic for Joffrey hiring the Catspaw made no sense.

Why would Tommen be a ward at Winterfell? Going back to the review I left a few chapters ago, Myrcella would make more sense as a ward not only since if the plan is to have her eventually marry Robb, her spending time in the North wouldn’t be terrible, plus she can be fostered with Catelyn who is remaining in the North, whereas Ned is going south, would not be around to teach Tommen and whatnot.

A smart move here would be to try and secure a betrothal between Robb and Myrcella and arrange for her to be warded in the North with Catelyn, which likely would’ve eventually happened anyways had things not fallen apart (at least in the books). Or since she’s been aged up to 12, it’s likely Robert would’ve offered her and Robb in addition to Joffrey and Sansa and they might have wed before they went south.

Why would he want her in the capitol? When she leaves Winterfell she screws everything up and starts a war. She trusts Baelish and Lysa way too much.
