Also, will Zakhaev and Makarov factor in at all? Would be curious if they decide to go all in with WMDs on the Locust and take out both them and their enemies at the same time.

Honestly, with reading this story I would be curious if you made a crossover like this, but have it where there is a portal or something that connects Earth to Sera and they both fight against the Lambent and Locust.

the COG special in ground warfare to an extreme and the fact that a lot of there weaponry was designed with larger rounds for heavier armor and lots of the soldiers and locust had to deal with heavy gravity then earths so they also will be moving faster.

this was really good showing more pov's of the locust invading. Now im curious on what the locust pov's would consist of with them invading the surface world of earth instead of Sera.

Umm while true in the initial surprise attack they would gain ground, however with the numerous ranged weaponry we have compared to the COG we would've contained them in the area's they managed to spread two after two days I think.

I just have trouble seeing this happen the way you described it.

Loved the beginning of ch2, it reminded me of war of the world with morgen freemen’s narrating. The rest was also bloody awesome, I could picture the chaos perfectly. Can’t wait for ch3.

ok this seems really good stuff going. It is always a wonder what would happen if E-day happened in the real world. the main problem is that the locust have the advantage in that they control the underground and can pop up whenever and while nuclear could slow them, they could always dig under to avoid the main damage, or worse take control of the nukes for themselves. Wonder if there is lambent here or the locust invade cause humanity sucks.

Because if there is no lambent that means the locust is using everything to invade, and that seemed to be the reason why the COG won in Gears of War was because the locust was fighting two wars. So for here if the whole locust force is here...well not looking good for humanity.
