A change in staff? Sounds like Snape may be gone. If not just think of his reaction. Better yet, think of the reaction from most the Slytherins. Especially Draco and his little group. Or Malfoy senior and the board of governors. It does sound like Hogwarts was who or what appointed Harry to the position.

I have never loved a one shot series this much. I sincerely hope you might even consider making another one or even a full story (I can dream).

Nicely paced, humorous one shot. The explanatory meeting between Harry and McG bordered on being hysterical. Based on the last sentence, it appears that Snape is no longer a professor at Hogwarts.

What adjustments? Hell what are his students and the students going to think about this? OMG I love this series and the thoughts it provokes.

Nice titles for Shilde trilogy. (The name reminds me of the Childe series which suggests another title: Tactics of Mistake)

Notations on the Board is a fun rational for Harry becoming professor.
Much better rational than professors actually choosing a student to teach.

I'm curious about the DADA NEWT, but not nearly as curious as I am about the last line... "You'll find there may have been some ... adjustments to the staff." Sigh.

I see it's marked complete, but maybe after VBDF is done ... (or not :-)).
I'm having fun speculating.

Term project: How do we defeat Tom Riddle (aka Lord V...)?

Definitely needs a sequel or two or a dozen. This could go to some fun places. Maybe somehow the Potter luck kills the horcruxes by accident? Some sort of accidental Rube Goldberg series of events? The Power He Knows Not being Harry's wildly swinging luck, or maybe just some sort of weird result of being DADA professor.

Lots of potential fun there.

This story needs to be longer. Why not join the previous story on as chapter 1, this as chapter 2 etc.

I really want to know what McGonagall meant at the end there! I'm always so happy when this concept get more chapters!
