So how did her portkey take her over a century into the future and to another planet? I assume, she didn't portkey the whole way to Andromeda anyway.

If she cast a kex designed to make things explode, why didn't anything explode? Last chapter you had the same curse blow through a door and destroy half of a magically resistant wall.

not much so far to really comment on story-wise, we'll have to wait and see.

I think the dog route was a better choice than the wall. Less hostile, and will be able to be built upon more later. Like, you make her mad you become an animal is more fun then you upset her and she puts you through a wall. A good running gag that brings humor.
Am enjoying this and look forward to seeing more.
