I think it's very well done and the characterizations are spot on! Interesting idea re: what people might think about Gwydion and Taran's relationship.

This is a scene I would never have considered, and it is intriguing. I think you've handled the characterizations and diction quite well. Both Gwydion and Achren seem right in-character, and I think it makes complete sense that Achren would question the prince's relationship with Taran as she does. She is shrewd - it would not slip her notice that men as powerful as Gwydion and Dallben had taken such interest in Taran. I find writing anything for Gwydion somewhat intimidating, myself, (never confident I can hit that right blend of nobility and humility), so extra cheers to you for not only making the attempt but succeeding!

I AM that annoying reader who calls people out on typos (though I am too often guilty of them myself), so I will mention that several popped out at me in this story. I'll P.M. you a list, so you can clean them up and not have them distract anyone else from what is truly a fine story.
