I loved this and I genuinely wish this is what happened. I thought of this exact scenario when I watched Max cleaning up El in the bathroom. It would’ve been such a good opportunity for Mike to talk to El and hopefully explain and apologize. Granted, that would’ve taken out some “tension” in the episodes following that, but it would’ve made me feel a little better, haha. Regardless, this was beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

Oh. Wow. I uh, don’t have words. This is what we needed: this scene, a perfect parallel to season 1, would have been incredible. It would have held the emotional weight of the sauna test that the real scene (her and max mocking mike) seriously lacked. Your writing is beautiful, I loved this so much.
