A most thoughtful gift and what's more: the acknowledgment of the care and love between Sybbie and the Carsons by Mr Branson. How they are a family this way and that is what Christmas is all about. I knew it was wise to keep something sweet to get me through some hard days. Thank you for lifting my heart during these difficult times.

OH MY HEART this was so lovely and sweet and I love how Elsie tells Sybbie here (as she has in some other chapters) that the little girl will one day teach 'her own children' - THAT GIVES ME ALL THE FEELS I could just drown in them

I love how the children are allowed to go out and just be children - we don't get snow much, and none at all this year, but it really was so lovely to see everyone so into it

I am so glad I finally have more time and can put some actual care into reading and reviewing! This was sweet and a little heartbreaking and loving and all those good Christmas things - but things that we are sorely needing now as well. It did brighten up my incredibly early morning.

I loved that you described Mrs. Patmore as "shouty." Also, The Carsons just seem to know how to treat a child in the kindest way, even when she breaks the special candles. They teach her lessons as they enjoy her company.

Oh for the days when children received simple, little gifts such as the bell and necklace The Carsons gave Sybbie! They were things she would always treasure because they meant something to her. Chelsie gave her a magical Christmas season!

I've just found this treasure and will be reading every chapter and looking forward to the threesome's Christmas adventures! I love Chelsie... and Sybbie!

Liked the part about Sybbie's feelings toward the Carsons as compared to the Granthams. In royal families I've heard this was common. Thanks for all these installments, Hogwarts-I finished a little late, but it has been a reading pleasure!
