this is getting interested, a history were we see juane actually figth for his dream and doing it the hard way. I hope the updates come faster

Yay another chappie! I'm excited to see more, and I'm curious on how this will change Canon as it's really subtle.

As someone else has pointed out, the name is a bit misleading to what you are building upon. Personally, The Art of Being More is something I would have gone with. That aside, I am greatly intrigued on where you plan on going with this, a lot of what you established is going outside the norm, especially the father. I like it.

Nothing against the what you named the title of the fanfic but I feel like "Getting Better" kinda sounds like a hurt/comfort thing, more psychological. Kind of like a fic about Jaune regretting not being able to save Pyrrha and his friends helping him get over it. Wouldn't something like "Till I Collapse" or "When My Bones Creak" or just something generally physical work better? well not like it matters, it's hard as fuck finding a story with a protagonist ripping himself apart to improve and I fucking love it already.

This is a really nice take on the Arc family, I enjoyed the hints to the arcs linage of warriors. can't wait to see where this story goes from here, love the way the characters interact

Sweet. A Jaune who's now respected by his dad and probably his family (at least most of 'em probably) and now has potential to actually BE something.

Oh, this is good. Jaune taking his destiny onto his own hands and forging his own path through sweat and toil.

A Jaune that works hard on his own because his Father refuses to let him follow his dream.

I'm in. The issue of aura will become a thing unless he hurts himself somewhere or something.

It’s off to a good start and I hope to see more of it. I am curious what the ‘hook’ of the story will be. By that I mean each Jaune-centric story has something about him that makes him unique, worthwhile in a way that makes him interesting. I can see glimpses of it here, with the emphasis given to his use of his anger, pain and self-loathing as fuel for his growth, but I’m not sure if I’m imagining it or if that’s purposeful on your part. If it is, I like it, feels like the Sith from the Star Wars, but again, it’s too early for tell.
