One thing that always bugged me about that curse is why amputation couldn’t be used to counter it? I mean it is restricted to one small part of the body at that point so removing the affected part should remove the curse. Heck lop the part off with Godric’s sword with Fawkes on hand if you have to. If, by some convoluted reason, it isn’t restricted to the physical body then why the hell did spread like mundane necrosis?

Anyway, I’m enjoying this story and am looking forward to seeing how it will unfold from here.
