This is so intriguing and a scenario that I never imagined. I guess I always assumed that she got into trouble for not doing anything in class and was sentenced to detention, but for her to go to dentition on her own is... wow.. I'm sorry for my rambling, but it's amazing to find a different perspective to a character in a movie that I've seen over a hundred times. I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that there are going to be at least two more chapters, one for Claire and one for John. Looking foreword to whatever is coming next!

Wow, this is... I'm speechless, really. Such a powerful and emotional chapter. I could feel Larry's pain and this is kind of the way I pictured that it happened. No wonder Andrew felt such remorse. Excellent job on this chapter (and the story as a whole)!

This is an amazing story and this chapter makes me want to hug Brian. Who knew he was so broken? These days if they found a gun in his locker he'd be arrested immediately but in 1985 things were different. I wish they would have made a movie showing what they did to get into detention or what happened after, but the movie was pretty great as it was. Definitely one of my favorites. I lost count of how many times I went to see that movie when I was in high school.

This is very interesting so far. Can't wait for more!

This was really sad reading about what was going on in Brian's head when he contemplated suicide. All because Brian found himself struggling with a subject. What I found interesting was that, instead of asking other students in his Shop Class, who might know how to reconfigure the lamp so that it would work, he ended up consulting his science teachers.
