Would have been far more interesting had you convert their abilities to DxD system.

I recommend describing the event (having to sleep on the couch) with a flashback or something rather than make him describe it. It’s ok every now and then. But I don’t think it’s a good idea to have him keep describing events. Unless he is telling someone inside the story.

The discretion of the date events wasn’t as bad. Specially since you wanted to show the MC’s POV so you can explain his thoughts

I hope you don’t feel like I am bashing your work, as I am just giving my opinion in the hope it will help your improve. And don’t stress over it. Just keep the issues in mind you will improve over time.

Also Rias doesn’t really need issei to die to get him to join. He would joint if she agrees to flash her tits at him. After explaining that harems are a normal thing in devil society he would probably jump at her and ask where to sign.

As for Asia, not sure about her and issei being together. Their relationship develops because of the heavy interactions between the 2 while being part of the same peerage. But it’s more likely for her to live with the MC and his family them with issei. I think she would be more likely to end up with Akeno than Issei if the novel doesn’t just push every girl at him. Like some of the girls after him in the original would fit with him. But others feel forced.

His relationship with people like Rias, Irina Shidou or even Ravel Phenex I can see being in a relationship with him. The author of the original keeps on adding girls as a way to keep the plot going but they don’t really get far with him for the most part. I recommend making his harem stalling at least till he gets much much stronger and make their relationships more developed.

Like I don’t see Xenovia Quarta going after issei in this novel. She will keep trying to go after the MC even if he keeps rejecting her. She is just stupid that way. Or share loyalty to him if she leaves the church simply because she doesn’t know what to do or some similar stupid shit she does without thinking.

So in conclusion I don’t think issei and Asia make a good couple in this novel. But they would be decent friends. And it would do good for issei’s personality to have plutonic female friends.

Like honestly if someone had a harm after sometime they will become better at controlling them selfs. Because constantly interacting with women specially intimately will help them get use to it and not act like a shield at the first pare of boobs he sees. Not that he will become less of a pervert he just won’t act like a kid. He would be some middle ground between Azazel and Jiraiya (from naruto).

Nice intro to the story. The start felt a bit drown out as you were introducing the characters but that can’t be helped.

The story seems t8 have great potential, I just hope you don’t follow the canon to the letter.

I, like the fact that you realized, if Gremory had ACTUALLY trained, she would be much, much stronger.

In fact, the whole gremory peerage throughout the first half of the series,
are damaged, and broken, Little red-head believes the only "comfort"
they require to, "get better" is her mere presence & affection's, which is VERY wrong.

Rias, as they say, had been babying them too much, just as Sirzech's had done to her,
Even the, Elitism she demonstrates, is bad news for me.
