Someday, depending on how the end of RWBY pans out, I'd like to read a chapter where Dante and Vergil are both sparring against each other in Sin Devil Trigger in front of a wide audience, just for 'Rule of Cool'... or crank it 'Up To Eleven' and have the 'Sons of Sparda' in Sin Devil Trigger versus the 'Gods of Light and Darkness' in an 'Ultimate Showdown of Ultimate Destiny' that would decide the fate of all life on Remnant. For added irony, you could even title the chapter: 'Cain and Abel'!

if your going to add anyone might as well be either Lady and/or Trish adding in Nero would just be too cruel 3 powerful demon hunters against Salem and her minions is just mean at least against either Lady and/or Trish they will have that little thing there in that deep corner of the room called a chance in winning a fight. It's already damn dim as it is against 1 let alone both of the Sparda brothers adding Nero to the mix might as well just wipe out that little thing called a chance out of existence for victory will not be granted to Salem they are just too strong.

Sorry for sounding like I'm attacking you but No, no no no, nononononono. I get that you feel that way as there are some male characters that I myself can't imagine seeing being shipped with other certain female characters. But you should know by now that we all have the right of who we want to ship on this website.

Like I've already said, Dante is one of the only characters that will be good in ANY pairing that you put him in. He is sexy, charismatic, super op, charming, suave, funny, noble, deep when he wants to be. It will make sense for ANY female character to be drawn to a combination of those traits. Plus, just the idea of this fictional character being shipped with a character from another series is like twenty percent the point of a crossover story. Why waste that opportunity by pairing Dante with Trish (as well as Lady)?

We already have like fifty stories of Dante being paired with Trish AND we already have like a hundred hentai pics of Dante and Trish. Why don't you just go and watch those instead?

Some of us wanna take a break from some DanteXTrishXLady content and see Dante paired with a hotty from another series for a change.

Also, yeah Griffon, Shadow and Nightmare may not be able to actually finish off a grimm (or a human enemy) but Shadow can still like chop off their arms and legs off. In the Visions of V Manga, Shadow was seen fighting a group of empusas and while he couldn't kill them, the panther was still able to cut them to pieces to the point they can no longer physically function to be a threat anymore. So even if the grimm can't die from, Shadow's onslaught, what the hell can it do without any arms or legs? OR EVEN AN ENTIRE BODY FOR THAT MATTER if Shadow decides to cut off its head? Griffon & Nightmare should also have ways maim its enemies to the point of no longer being able to fight as well so.

About Nightmare having sentiencs, in the Visions of V Magna, when Mundus created Nightmare, he took away his free will by binding him in that armored state that we see in DMC1. Then V pretty much ends up giving Nightmare free will and Nightmare decided to thank him by deciding to be one of his familiars.

Ah potential pairings in this excellent RWBY X DMC crossover fan fiction for the twin sons of Sparda. For Vergil, I can totally picture him with either Raven or Winter. For Dante, absolutely nobody as I am not into crossover pairings for Dante one bit. Unless of course you decide to bring Trish in much later on in the story. I have yet to read any single Devil May Cry crossover fan fiction where for once Trish gets to fall in love with the man who saved her life and helped him seal Mundus. It is always Lady and that just rubs me the wrong way since they don't really have much chemistry between one another throughout the entire Devil May Cry series.

While you did provide a plausible explanation as to why exactly Griffon, Nightmare and Shadow cannot kill off the Grimm, it doesn't really make much sense to carry that gameplay mechanic over from DMC5 to RWBY since the world of Remnant is vastly different than the world Dante and Vergil come from. More importantly though Vergil is whole again,alive and well unlike when he split himself up into V and Urizen. What good are having minions at his command if they cannot kill their foes on their own. Apparently Griffion has never heard of horror icon Freddy Kruger who can still kill people even in their dreams. Or better yet succubi and incubi. This could pose a problem later should the Grimm attack Vergil in even larger numbers and he is unable to deliver the final blow due to being overwhelmed.

On the plus side, it does appear that the Grimm are unable to sense and detect the three demonic minions of Vergil when he was his human half V. This is a great advantage that can prove to be a tremendous blessing in disguise. Also unlike when he was his human half V, as long as the Grimm can be still be affected with Vergil's summon swords then he doesn't need to get up close and personal with any single one of them.

Speak of the devil. Raven has already introduced herself to Dante. She has no idea of the demon lords he has already taken care. Salem will put up a fight. Of that I do not doubt one bit. Along with Tyrian and Hazel. Raven will want to recruit Vergil to her side. Mercury got humiliated by Shadow. While talking about Salem, if she honestly thinks she could convince Vergil to form with an alliance with her,then she has another thing coming. Arkham learned this the hard way. Qrow and Dante are going to be the bane of every bar they visit.

Some progress has been made as to what exactly are the mysterious artifacts that transported Vergil and Dante into the world of Remnant. So Nightmare is capable of communication. I thought it was devoid of all sentient thought.

Well, its true that Griffon, Shadow and Nightmare can't actually finish off an enemy, they can still maim them to the point where they can no longer physically function for the rest of their lives. It is shown that in the Visions of V magna, Shadow was fighting a group of Empusas. And while he couldn't kill them, he was still able to tear them to pieces. So if Shadow wanted to when fighting a human enemy, he can still chop off their arms and legs. And if Vergil wanted to, he can have his enemies suffer a slow and EXTREMELY painful torture by having Griffon and Shadow just go to town on them just to let some of us know. Just imagine getting your face bitten off but not die from it. That would just be a VERY horrible experience.

I actually didn't think you were gonna be open about doing some pairings for this story but since you asked, I would be okay with you pairing Dante with ANY of the RWBY girls. I mean, come on...its Dante. ANY pairing that you put him in, it becomes a good (and hot) pairing. Weather its with an iconic character like Wonder Woman, or a villain like Grail (Darkseid's Daughter), a girl having nothing in common with Dante like a soldier girl like Bullet from Blazblue or a ninja girl like Kasumi from Dead or Alive or an angel girl like well, any of the girls from League of Angels, unexplored or unfleshed out but still liakable characters like Raynare or Kalawarner from Highschool DXD or a girl that is just a regular human with no superpowers like Revy from Black Lagoon or Shizuka Marikawa from Highschool of the Dead or a real world Actress/Model like Jennifer Lopez or Monica Bellucci or Sofia Vergara or Alexis Texas or even a girl who is a worthless cunt, unlikable or is just a badly written character (not gonna name any examples for this category cause not everyone here will have the same opinion).

Dante wouldn't need the aforementioned types of girls to function well during the story. All that is required of them is to just be hot while Dante just carries it with his style and personality. (Of course fanfiction writers are able to have them written better than their canon selves so they can contribute to the romance that they are put into with Dante as well as the story).

Oh and of course same with Vergil to an extent. Personally I'm okay if you choose even the younger female characters. I see nothing wrong with the age gap since this is fanfiction.
